Standing in the Battledome

The Bartimaeus verse is a decently powerful verse. Possessing city level top-tiers. City-block level high-tiers, small building level mid-tiers, even low-tiers are explicitly shown to be above most humans. Most spirits also possess a decent amount of hax ranging from elemental manipulation, shape-shifting, matter manipulation, invisibility, and among other things. Though physical attributes are rather low on the whole of things.

Humans have access to several artifacts that are rather hax. Such as Seven-League boots which aren't bound by the laws of space and time allowing them to cover great distances in single steps. The staff of Gladstone which possess enough power to level a city-block, and atomize human beings. There are also several humans throughout the series who have resistance to magic. The most notable would be Verroq who is capable of taking multiple spells from Bartimaeus.
