Supersonic is a term that refers to speeds past mach one (344m/s). Any character that can dodge a bullet is considered to have supersonic or near supersonic reaction time. Characters that create sonic booms in their wake are also considered supersonic and in some cases characters that can dodgesound based attacks are also considered supersonic. Most verses are at a speed disadvantage if their characters are not in that range. Supersonic can also refer to Sonic the Hedgehog.
