Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Konoha Senpuu: A whirlwind spinning kick.
- Konoha Gouriki Senpuu: Far stronger version of the Konoha Senpuu.
- Omote Renge: Gai sends the opponent flying into the air, and crashes him into the ground.
- Hachimon Tonkou: Gai can open 7 of the 8 gates, giving him a huge power and speed boost for a given time, at great sacrifice to his personal health. At the opening of an 8th gate, the user dies.
- Dynamic Entry: Gai jumps and flies to kick the first thing in view.
- Asa Kujaku (Morning Peacock): Gai kicks the opponent into the air and punches him so fast that it looks like fireballs in the shape of a peacock. Has only been performed after opening six gates.
- Hirudora (Daytime Tiger): After opening seven gates Gai gains a presence aura that can push several gallons of water away from his personal space, that is somehow derived of body heat, and glorious sweat. Yeah. His attack is then focused on fast punch with a tiger resembling aura that focuses massive amounts of air pressure, comparable to a micro-hurricane. Although Gai's body is running high on chakra at this point, no chakra is involved in the body of this attack itself, causing any chakra tied techniques to it, to behave accordingly.
- Sekizo (Evening Elephant): After opening all eight gates, Gai emits red steam as his blood boils. Then with a single punch, he compresses the air around him to form a giant elephant's foot. One punch is enough to damage Madara Uchiha as the Juubi Jinchuriki and create a narrow but extremely deep crater. Hitting five times is enough to shatter Gudodama's and greatly damage a Juubi Jin.
- Yagai (Night Guy): Gai's ultimate technique with the Eight Gates. He charges his remaining chakra around him so the red steam forms into a dragon and launches a powerful flying side kick. The speed and sheer power of this technique is enough to warp space itself around him and nearly killed a Juubi Jin. However, the after effects would normally kill Gai as his body is burned from the inside out and starts crumbling to ash.
