Shaman King OBD
Yoh and Anna (Note: Don't fuck with Anna)

Background Information

Shaman King is a completed shonen manga series created by Hiroyuki Takei.

Originally, the series had 32 volumes with an ''incomplete'' ending, so, a bit later, the series had a reprint with 27 volumes and was known as Shaman King Kanzenban, which also had the true ending of the series.

The main character is Yoh Asakura, a shaman with the power to channel spirits.

It has an anime adaptation, but it strays pretty far from the original manga. The anime was also butchered by 4kids, in a similar way to what they did to One Piece.

It also has a completed seinen sequel named as Shaman King: Flowers which had 6 volumes.

The sequel, it takes place, 10 years after the end of the previous series and the main character is Hana Asakura, the son of Yoh.

Generally new adventures are about to begin and this time, Hana will have to face the new opponents.

Standing in the Battledome

The verse is fairly strong due to having island busting Oversouls and G.S. Hao.

They have many broken powers, and are especially effective against spirit-based enemies (Shaman King almost always rapes Bleach in matchups).

There is a very controversial debate regarding the power of Hao Asakura when he became Shaman King and controlled the Great Spirit.

Claims of his power have ranged from mid Herald level to omnipotent (obvious hyperbole claims are obvious).

Threads including G.S. Hao tend to include A LOT of Shaman King wank.
