Powers and Abilities: Super strength, speed, agility, durability, expert swordsman, can create strong shockwaves with his sword which can numb his opponent's nerves, he can do very fast flash attacks and trap his opponents with explosives which are contained in his Artificial Arm Sword, manipulation over the Rain Flame attribute, can use his Rain Flames to activate his Box Weapon, the ability to slow down an opponent's movements with his Rain Flames of ''Tranquillity'', strong enough to take down multiple opponents without any aid from Squalo himself
Weaknesses: His anger can be seen as a problem against more calm and collected swordsmen

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Rain Flame: A Flame blue in color. Rain Flames hold the abilities of appeasement and dulling, commonly referred to as calming or tranquility in the manga. Rain-attribute Flames are in many ways more similar to water than actual flames.
- Tranquillity: An ability that the Rain Flame holds. These Flames carry the meaning of stillness and pacification. Thus, they can be used to weaken a target by robbing its strength and capacity of movement. There are also known examples of it being used to create ice.
- Artificial Arm Sword: Squalo cut off his own left hand and replaced it with this sword. The artificial arm sword is able to extend and turn 180 degrees backwards.
- Grande Pioggia Squalo (Heavy Rain Shark): Squalo's Box Weapon, which resembles a great white Shark and is powerful enough to defeat enemies on its own. He nicknamed it Alo.
- Attacco di Squalo (Attack of the Shark): A shockwave attack which turns a powerful blow into an oscillating wave, which stuns the opponent's muscles.
- Zanna di Squalo (Fang of the Shark): Thrusts sword forward multiple times, Basil states that "it was chewing away at the air ahead of him."
- Scontro di Squalo (Charge of the Shark): Squalo slices diagonally in front of him, tearing away the water as he charges forward.
