Weaknesses: Is slightly weaker in his female form, afraid of cats and will go into a type of berserker rage when confronted with one, but in this state, he is a mindless animal and can easily be distracted by things that would distract cats (i.e. catnip)

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

- Moko Takabisha: A ki blast powered by Ranma's self - confidence. Its power is easily building - destroying level and can be charged beyond that.

- Hiryu Shoten Ha: A technique that uses the opponent's own power against him. First Ranma develops a "soul of ice", leaving him devoid of emotion, creating a cold temperature. He then leads his opponent into a spiral pattern, causing his cold to interact with the heat of the opponent (heat can come from emotions, such as battle frenzy or lust, or from actual heat like fire) - the opponent does not have to have any of these, but just have a general temperature (either physical or emotional) hotter than Ranma's own temperature. When the spiral is completed, a tornado is created that carries the opponent away, doing tremendous damage (the more power the opponent was using, the more damage is delivered in the attack).

- Hiryu Korin Dan: A variation of Hiryu Shoten Ha, used when there is enough heat in the atmosphere (such as residual battle ki), if the opponent attempts to use a cold - based attack to counter the Hiryu Shoten Ha, which uses a cold blast to turn the residual heat into a giant descending ki blast (powerful enough to damage a large part of a mountain).

- Hiryu Hyo Toppa: Another Hiryu Shoten Ha variant, accomplished using the Gekkaja, a weapon which creates cold and freezes things it touches, in order for this to work there must be a channel of cold temperature between two barriers of heat, focusing the cold energy into a very sharp cutting blast that will slice and freeze an opponent.

- Hiryu Gyoten Ha: Hiryu Shoten Ha variant, again using the Gekkaja - uses residual heat energy to create a piercing whirlwind which was capable of destroying a powerful artifact that many other strong attacks were ineffective against.

- Umi Sen Ken: A technique originally created for burglary, it makes Ranma effectively invisible to opponents, including sixth senses such as ki senses. This is used for getting behind opponents for sneak attacks - he needs to remain emotionless to use this, so if he is provoked he is brought out of this state.
