 Season 10's McGuffin

Name: Book of the Damned
Origin: Supernatural
Type: Spellbook
Powers and Abilities: The book contain many powerful and ancient spells (detailed below), it also has a presence that seems to influence the mind of its users and only powerful magic practitioners can resist it, it is protected by a spell that prevents it from being destroyed. The book also seems to amplify the power of witches using it (with the book Rowena could easily vaporize three witches, whereas she needed prep to do that to just one person before, also her mindfucking spell was capable of affecting an Angel after getting the book)
Destructive Capacity: Varies depending on the spell and how many witches participate in the casting
Wielder(s): The Frankenstein family, Nadia, Rowena
Material or Element: It is made of human skin and written in human blood
Needed Prerequisite for Use: Only powerful magic practitioners can handle it, it is also very difficult to read as it is written in ancient sumerian and coded, a decoder, Nadia's Codex, exists but it is encrypted in and of itself.
Spells included in the book:

- Removing the Mark of Cain: the book contains methods of removing any curse, even the first and most powerful one.
in order to remove the mark a number of ingredients are required: The forbidden fruit (yeah, the one that Eve ate), a piece of the golden calf and something the caster loves (the sacrifice of a loved one actually), also a hair from the carrier of the mark.

Time travel spell: the book has a spell for time travel in it, but it requires at least two witches to cast.

Soul Bomb: the book contains instruction on how to construct a soul bomb, including a spell for trapping souls in a gem.

Diminishing spell: a spell from the book desugned to weaken supernatural defenses and harm the target from the inside up, with five witches casting this spell it had enough power to affect the Darkness (albeit barely).

Tempering with the Cage: the book details the methods of how to communicate with someone trapped in Lucifer's cage, open the cage or lock someone back inside.
