Notable Attacks/Techniques:

- Ars Magna: An alchemy spell which involves creating an accurate representation of the world within the mind, then bringing out the caster's thoughts into reality and distorting the actual world to their will, thus granting them the power of reality warping through the use of mental commands. While powerful, it has weaknesses in that the thoughts of the caster must be carefully controlled so as not to cause unintended actions and phenomena, and a clear mind is necessary to keep the commands from being distorted from random thoughts and doubts. To compensate for this, Aureolus utilizes acupuncture needles and recites the commands verbally. However, Ars Magna also contains another weakness in that the ability is limited to whatever the caster believes it is capable of doing, and concepts that the caster can clearly understand and comprehend. If the caster of Ars Magna possesses a subconscious doubt about a certain order, they will be unable to carry out the specific command. Similarly, they are unable to defeat an opponent they believe they cannot defeat. Aureolus has used a number of commands in the series, which include but are not limited to:
  • "Explode from the inside": Expands and explodes the opponent from within, splattering their blood, flesh, bones, and internal organs over the surrounding area. Despite this, they are still alive in this state, although immobile.
  • "I will go there now": This spell allows him to teleport right in front of his opponent.
  • "Slam to the ground": Forcibly slams his opponents to the ground by crushing them with a massive intangible weight.
  • "Die": This spell kills his opponent. Rather than damaging or harming them, this is accomplished by extracting their soul.
  • "You shall not touch me": Creates an infinite distance between Aureolus and his opponent, making them unable to reach him.
  • "Be electrocuted": This spell electrocutes his opponent.
  • "Suffocate": This makes his opponent suffocate.
  • "Be strangled": Causes ropes to emerge from the floor and choke his opponent.
  • "Be crushed": In the case of Aureolus Dummy, a large hand was summoned and crushed the homunculus to dust, and in the case of Touma, a heavy object was summoned to crush him under its weight.
  • "Float into the sky": Negates gravity for his enemy, causing them to float upwards.
  • "Bring a (object) to my hand": Aureolus uses his Ars Magna to bring an object to his hand. He usually uses this to bring a gun to his hand. These guns can shoot as fast as he wants them to shoot.
  • "Forget everything": Erases specific memories from the opponent's mind.
  • "Revert back to normal": Restores what Aureolus chooses to back to its previous state. He was able to use this to completely reverse and repair the destroyed Misawa Cram School and resurrect all the dead students.
