Powers and Abilities: Super strength, speed, durability, endurance, agility, using his Giant Magic Makarov is able to grow to a gargantuan size in which his offensive and defensive capabilities are maximised (can localise the effects of Titan to enlarge selective areas of his body to give the sensation that he has elastic properties), these effects can also be directed towards others, the ability to use Light Magic, using this he is able to create and control light, can fire light oriented blasts, can use Fire Magic, using this he is able to create and control fire, the ability to use Wind Magic, using this he is able to create and control wind (it has been stated that Makarov can use this type of magic however he has never actually used it, so the extent to which Makarov can manipulate wind is unknown), Requip Magic (can use this to summon his robes and boots)

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Giant: Makarov’s signature magic that makes up for his small size, Titan, as the name suggests, allows him to enlarge his body to gigantic proportions.
- Maximum Defense Seal: Makarov releases a lot of magical seals, which float around him and seemingly inhibit another seal-based attack performed against him, acting as a defense.
- Three Pillar Gods: Apparently a powerful defense spell, Makarov crosses his arms before him with the fists clenched. This prompts three ethereal pillars composed of dark seals to appear, two before Makarov, at his sides, and one behind him.
- Fairy Law: Targets all that the user sees as enemies and eliminates them. Only those the user sees as allies or neutral will remain unscathed. The choice between friend or foe is decided by the user's spirit, and he can not lie to this magic.
- Light Magic: A type of elemental magic which relies around the use of light.
- Giant Wrath: Makarov exudes a constant surge of destructive light energy that surrounds him, which shakes the surrounding environment and destroys everything within the vicinity. Used when Makarov goes to find Jose Porla, during Fairy Tail's raid on Phantom Lord.
- Rain of Light: Makarov creates his Magic Seal in front of himself, from which multiples light blasts are generated and sent flying at his opponents.
- Fire Magic: A type of elemental magic which relies around the use of fire.
