Weaknesses: While sealed in a host (jinchuuriki) he will die if his host does, while his host has fully transformed into him they appear on his forehead and are vulnerable to attack, the host must remain asleep for him to keep control, attacking the host will wake them up and suppress Shukaku once more, unable to focus its power without its Jinchuriki.
