- AT Field (Absolute Terror Field): A staple ability for all Angels in the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. A typically invisible projection of energy (when made visible, it is usually hexagonal in shape, though it varies on an individual basis) that enables the user to defy conventional physics. Can be used as both an offensive and a defensive tool, though its most common usage is as a potent forcefield
- Cruciform Beam: Zeruel can cause explosions to burst from the ground at any point he wishes. When these explosions go, they erupt high into the air, and then to branches of energy expand from the sides of the column of energy, forming the shape of a cross.
- Optic Laser: Zeruel can fire a pair of yellow linear beams from its eye. While they take a few seconds to charge up and lack the range of the "Cruciform Beams", they are much more concentrated in nature, capable of easily bypassing an Evangelion Unit's "AT Field" and blasting off their limbs.
- Bladed Limbs: Zeruel's arms are designed as a pair of elongated sheet-like instruments, which can be folded in and out quickly and are highly flexible in movement (like ribbons). Can be extended across a couple hundred meters or so. They are capable of effortlessly slicing off Evangelion Unit limbs.
