Weaknesses: Cutting his connection with Izana will remove his infinite regeneration and stamina, he's rather inexperienced in combat and guided purely by human spirit's structure, berserker (as Enhanced Apostle)

Intelligence: Average, Richard Xnbrave is a medicore human being in almost every aspect, but on one occasion has shown to surprise even Glenfarth, he was also competent enough to become Representative Paladin of St.Canterbury in the epilogue, highest possible position for Paladin, previously occupied by Glenfarth himself
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- KusanagiBlade Cursepain: Richard's Asterism, lightning emission ability. Probably because of his relationship with Rufus and connection to Izana, his starlight took the same shape as that of his brother. The main difference is that Richard's lightning can scatter over large area and propagate through matter while maintaining its destructive power.

Human Bomb: technique where Richard converges starlight in his own body, eventually causing it to explode. In theory, he can use it infinitely due his regeneration and unlimited energy supply. However, unlike Helios and Ancestors who surpassed fear of pain and death, Richard has spiritual structure of average human, that's why he's reluctant to do this move.
- Baptism-type Planetes: it's the unique state Richard reached near the end of Misaki route. In this form Ragna entrusted him with his entire power as a Godslayer. Unlike batpism of Tsukuyomi which distributed blessing among several bodies, Ragna gave all his power to the only one he can call the best friend, Richard. Thus, Ragna embedded inside him core of Fimbulvetr - Interdimensional Phase Transition-Type Nuclear Fusion Reactor. Transcending mere Paladins, he's now Dragon Knight who can fight evenly with (weakened) Glenfarth. Even if Veratyr surpassed anti-immortal property of Ragna's Asterism, the output generated by this reactor elevated Richard to the level above Esperanto and Apostles. A mere contact with this energy comparable to large-scale nuclear power plant can vaporize human body without leaving a single trace. Aside from this, Ragna installed inside him special algorithm which reproduced his own physical characteristics and manipulated Richard's limbs and senses, allowing young knight to temporarily match Glenfarth in combat.
- Apostle: people who received power from Ancestors, becoming their limbs and faithful servants. Through ritual called “Baptism” Ancestors create purified axion (materialized astral) and drive it into subject heart. Resulting body alteration grants them all benefits common to Esperanto, including increased physical abilities and acquisition of Asterism. What sets them apart from Esperanto is that through axion they inherit properties of their masters. In the case of Ancestors, it’s immortality. This ritual forms invisible connection between Ancestors and Apostles and so long this connection remains Apostles can regenerate even from complete destruction. They can freely adjust regeneration speed, usually they can regenerate their entire body in about 3 seconds, but it’s possible for them to delay it for combat purposes. However, because they’re 3-dimensional beings their lifespan is finite and thus, they can still die of old age. Furthermore, because they’re always connected to their masters, who in turn are connected to Amaterasu and draw power from there, their stamina is effectively infinite.

Enhanced Apostle: Richard's form after he received dual baptism, one from Izana and one from Glenfarth. His power in this state is incomparable to that of normal Apostles and in mere output he approached domain of Ancestors. However, now two sources of energy inevitably collide with each other unable to coexist. The amount of energy generated by this would normally turn anyone into pile of ash, but due to Richard's immortality he repeatedly experiences cycle of destruction and regeneration. Unable to keep shape of human even for a second he has no choice but to release excess of energy. In other words, in exchange for power he lost his sanity and is guided only by instinct to ease pain and erase everything in front of him.
