Powers and Abilities: Super strength, speed, durability, Gourmet Cells, (cells with regenerative and strength-enhancing qualities that allows the user to evolve when they consume delicious foods, the cells can also evolve as a response to harsh new environments, instantly creating adaptations which allow the user to survive, and can also initiate other self defense mechanisms for the body), Iaido Expert,(modern Japanese martial art that involves quickly and smoothly drawing the sword, striking, and sheathing it), "Exhaustion" (Match is able to focus his mind, and exhaust his body through concentration. This exhaustion increases the speed, power, and breadth of his Iaido techniques), huge willpower (severed his own leg since it was frozen solid was also willing to fight Tommy after he thought Toriko died, even though he was clearly outclassed, and had a huge flesh eating parasite in his body, his fighting style also requires being constantly exhausted for it to be effective, and despite this, Match can still perform well in combat, this is also a testament to his endurance)

- Gourmet Cells: Specialized cells with excellent regenerative and strength-enhancing qualities. When a human successfully adapts Gourmet Cells into their body they gain overwhelming life force and strength, creating a super human. An individual's Gourmet Cells increase in power when they consume delicious foods that suit them and the 'tastes' of their gourmet cells, causing the cells to 'evolve'; this enhances the strength of the user and their abilities. Gourmet cells can also evolve as a response to harsh new environments, instantly creating adaptations which allow the user to survive. Gourmet Cells have very high energy demands, so individuals must consume frequent large amounts of delicious food, lest the cells begin uncontrollably devouring the their body at the cellular level.
- Iaido: A sword style that involves that involves quickly and smoothly drawing the sword, striking, and sheathing it, all in one motion. The faster the swing, the more destructive it's slash becomes.
- San Mai Oroshi: Match cuts the target into three pieces with one swing.
- Harabiraki: Match cuts the target along its stomach.
- Meuchi Ichirinzashi: Match pierces the target straight through.
- Kaiten Kabuto Wari: Match swings his sword in an arc, cutting in two whatever he has pierced the sword with.
