Powers and Abilities: Can be activated and deactivated, generates heat and light, the blade acts as a solid object although it has no mass, can cut through almost any material, sometimes includes settings which can change the length or density of the blade
Destructive Capacity: Able to cut those with the durability of General Grievous

Material/Element: Variable, as each lightsaber is constructed individually by the Jedi that uses it. Always includes a power-cell and focusing crystal, which can be of many different types effecting the color blade and sometimes other properties. The blade is made of plasma which is contained by an electromagnetic field surrounding it..
Needed Prerequisite for Use: Training in wielding it is required, as unlike a normal sword, the blade has no mass, therefore it is very easy to accidentally injure yourself. Most often used by Force users, but this is not a requirement.
