Background Information

Chrono Crusade, also known as Chrono Cross is a manga series made by Daisuke Moriyama. Chrono Crusade follows the story of Rosette Christopher and her demon partner Chrono. As members of the Magdalene Order, they travel around the country eliminating demonic threats to society, while Rosette searches for her lost brother Joshua. The story reveals more information about Rosette, Chrono and for other things generally. It has a non-canon anime.

It has no relation with and should not be confused with Chrono Trigger.

Standing in the Battledome

With everything included, Chrono Crusade is a rather strong series. Pandemonium can reach escape velocity speed and essentially life wipe the Earth. It also have a number of broken abilities like time manipulation, soul manipulation, time stop, mind manipulation, intangibility, and forcefields with various magical abilities. On the other hand individual characters generally tend to be lacking in stats compared to most Holy Shonen Trinity characters. Speeds in Chrono Crusade range from faster than the eye to supersonic to potentially hypersonic velocities. There is at least one bullet timing feat as well. Destructive capacity amongst strong characters is at about large building levels, although reasonably powerful characters can already erect barriers to block that kind of attack given if they have a chance for a brief prep time.
