KILL IT WITH FIRE |
Name: Lucido Grand-Scenic, Hermes No.δ, Alchemist
Origin: Silverio Vendetta
Gender: Male
Classification: Planetes, cyborg, Grand-Scenic house's merchant, lolicon, masochist
Age: Unknown
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman characteristics, enhanced senses, limited reality warping and space manipulation (Planetes erect spatial boundary passively and erode Earth's law akin to cancer cells), can freely regulate output of his Asterism, high-dimensional interference (Orichalcum acts as a medium towards high-dimensional energy and draws it without waste upon phase transition), magnetism manipulation
Weaknesses: Lucido has no battle experience at all, meaning that without his Asterism he won't be able to do anything
Destructive Capacity: City block level+, possibly multi-city block level (far superior to Chitose and could deal enormous amount of damage to Valzelide)
Range: Hundreds of meters
Speed: Hypersonic+, massively hypersonic+ reactions (he could dodge even attacks from Valzelide by supplementing his speed with magnetism)
Durability: At least city block level+ with his barrier (Chitose most powerful attack did absolutely nothing to him even though he was using only his base output), possibly island level+ (Zephyr used his ability to repel island-destroying nuclear fusion of Kagutsuchi, but it's unknown whether he can do this on his own or it's a trait of Zephyr's higher output)
Lifting Strength: Superhuman (he doesn't use physical strength though)
Striking Strength: Superhuman
Stamina: Limitless (Planetes can freely regulate their output and draw pure, undiminished energy from the Other Side, negating excess of energy common to all Esperanto)
Standard Equipment: None
Intelligence: Pretty huge, he acts like an idiot, but he's a merchant of his family and is excellent at negotiations; however, he has almost no combat experience, never feeling a need to hone his skills due to versatility of his Asterism
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Miserable Alchemist: Lucido's Asterism, magnetic field generation and manipulation. Starlight with omnidirectional characteristics, making Lucido the best Planetes. Because magnetism can influence most substances, its versatility is among the highest in the series. Lucido can repel, twist, tear apart or crush any opponent and simulate telekinesis by controlling forces of attraction and repulsion, forcibly take control over human body by interfering with iron in the blood, dismantle and reshape matter by controlling minerals, dig out iron sand and fashion it into thousands of spears and move at hypersonic speed by propelling himself with magnetic repulsion. Defensive ability of this starlight is also top-notch as he can erect omnidirectional barrier which repels most physical attacks or disperse and negate distant attacks with a mere wave of his hand; not even Chitose's most powerful lightning could do anything. Since his Asterism is invisible and doesn't take any tangible form, it's very difficult to defend against it or determine its true essence.
-
Star Seal: ability which truly makes Lucido unrivaled among Esperanto and Planetes. By using his Asterism most basic ability to interfere with metal to the fullest, Lucido can manipulate Adamantium (even destroy it) and Orichalcum. Because they act as a medium for high-dimensional energy, he can forcibly close these channels and prevent anyone from using their starlight, turning them into powerless figures, while of course leaving his own channel intact. However, this ability is still dependent on enemy's output, if there's someone with a huge rank (at least AAA) then Lucido must focus all of his Asterism on sealing it, making him unable to do anything else.
-
N&S poles assignment: without a doubt, the most devastating ability granted to him by his Asterism - attachment of N and S poles. Lucido can attach them either to his enemies or even entire areas over long distances. Attractive force of this attack is truly terrifying, changing his enemies into living bullets which break through everything on their way. This attack is so devastating that it brought even Valzelide to his knees, crushing his body in the process and he would die if not for his abnormal spirit.
