Intelligence: A highly skilled doctor, necromancer and shaman
Notable Attacks/Techniques:

- Hyōi Gattai: This shamanic technique enables the shaman to integrate spirits into their body, forming a "unity" of both, their spirit and that of the ghost. The shaman would enter a special trance which enables them to synchronize their spirit with that of the ghost, allowing the ghost to possess their body and enabling the ghost to interact with the physical world. Furthermore, once integrated, the shaman takes on the knowledge & wisdom of the ghost as well as their personality.

- Bone Dead Reborn: Using the basic principle of his necromancy he uses his Furyoku to bring forth skeletons that are buried in the ground. These skeletons have a powerful vice-like grip, and are about as strong as an adult male

- Bone Shell: Using the skeletons from Bone Dead Reborn he creates a massive hollow shell of bones. This defense is weak since Yoh busted through it with little problem.

- Skull Scrummage: Faust moves the skeletons from bone dead reborn in a high speed line like football scrimmage.

- 20 Ton Calcium Giant: Faust uses a crapton of bones in the area to create a giant skeleton.

- Over Soul: Placing a soul into a medium to achieve greater fighting strength.

Throughout the manga Faust continuously develops his original O.S having shown 4 different forms in total.

- O.S. Frankensteiny: After giving up his lower legs to Eliza, Faust was confined to a wheelchair and became unable to walk for the rest of his life. However after training with Kyōyama Anna he learned how to Over Soul the bones of his dead dog into a pair of legs. This is done by splitting the bones up in the middle of the spine, so that the front legs are attached to his left leg and the back legs are attached to his right leg, both of them being attached with the spine.

- O.S. Dear Eliza: Using the spirit of his dead girlfriend, Eliza and the skeleton of said girlfriend, Faust is able to bring Eliza back to the world of the living(after a fashion). This is not a true resurrection, merely the semblance of it. In this form Eliza seems to be somewhat stronger than her appearance would suggest, as she is easily able to wield a large polearm and subdue Yoh.

- O.S. Mephisto E (Mephisto Eliza): Using Eliza's skeleton and various medical tools as a focus, Faust uses Eliza's spirit to create a demonic-looking giant version of Eliza, complete with demonic wings and over-sized surgical tools for fingers. Her equipment are scalpels, scissors and sonds on her right arm and fingers, and an oversized syringe on her left arm, equipped with an ammunition belt.

- O.S. Eliza Operieren: Again using Eliza's skeleton and various medical tools, Faust creates an armored version of Over Soul Dear Eliza, consisting of Eliza in her nurses outfit with surgical theater equipment attached to her back. Though an Armor-type Over Soul, Eliza Operieren is operated by the ghost of Eliza herself. Towards the end of the manga Faust begins to "wear" Eliza and the armor protrudes from his back instead.

  • Chō Senji Ryakketsu - Jugon Zonshi: After being unable to defeat death many times, Faust can finally, with this Over Soul, create a technique that can revive even the dead, as long as their bodies are not too damaged. With this technique he can also remove any damage and fatigue and even regrow limbs, although the latter is a slow and painful process.

  • Ampule Hagen: Faust and Eliza fire hundreds of Over Soul missiles that look like hypodermic needles.
