Weaknesses: His humorous habits, not relevant if CIS is off, which include, but are not limited to: rolling his eyes into the back of his head, rendering him unable to see, trying to speak with his lower lip stuck in his mouth, temporarily forgetting to breathe, accidentally aiming his attack at an ally instead of his enemy, forgetting to blink, facing the wrong way from everyone else

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Haki: There are normally two types of Haki regular people can tap into: the Kenbunshoku Haki which allows individuals to sense the presence of others, and Busōshoku Haki which allows individuals to create an invisible armor around them. There is however a third type of Haki, Haōshoku Haki, that only a few individuals can use. Gedatsu is not one of these people.
- Kenbunshoku Haki (Color of Observation or Mantra): A form of Haki that allows the user to sense the presence of his opponents. A user of this type of Haki can predict an opponent's moves before he gets hit. This works by showing the user an image or brief "premonition" of what the opponent will do, manifested as a mental image in the user's mind's eye, and the damage the user will take if the attack "hit" for real. It appears that the more killer intent the enemy has the easier they are to predict, though more efficient users can predict future moves regardless of whether there are ambient murderous intents or not. Including the distance, location, and where the opponent may strike next.
- Dials: Dials are strange, mysterious devices made from the remains of particular shellfish, which have the ability store energy and matter itself, usually by that particular type of energy or matter being absorbed by tiny holes on one side of the Dial, which can then be released by the user. Gedatsu have equiped himself with Milky Dials in his shoes (allowing himself to fly), Jet Dials on his elbows (to enhance his punching speed and attack power) and Cloud Dials (with which he releases swamp cloud to immobilize his foes).
- Jet Punch: Gedatsu activates one of the extinct Jet Dial on his elbows to throw a punch with greatly enhanced speed and power.
- Swamp Cloud Burger: Using two special Dials hidden in his sleeves, Gedatsu creates a big blob of swamp cloud and throws it at his opponent trying to capture them inside. If the cloud hits the head of his opponent he would not be able to breathe as it has the properties of a swamp and the density of a cloud. As the cloud is not solid, it is very hard to remove.
