Background Information

Gintama (or Silver Soul) is a completed shonen manga series created by Hideki Sorachi.

The samurai didn't stand a chance. First, the aliens invaded Japan. Next, they took all the jobs. And then they confiscated everyone's swords.

So what does a hotheaded former samurai like Sakata "Gin" Gintoki do to make ends meet? Take any odd job that comes his way, even if it means losing his dignity.

It's arguably one of the best the manga series the Weekly Shounen Jump magazine has ever had.

Standing in the Battledome

Gintama is fairly comedic in nature but the series is as battle shounen as any other meaning they do have some genuine feats.

They do have some feats that are considered outliers, however. (Save those for composite matches :maybe)

On the destructive side of things, the mid and high tiers range from at least city block level to town level+, while top tiers are city level to city level+.

They can mass several fleets of town busting warships and lesser space fleets ranging from large building level+ to multi city block level+.

The verse even has interstellar weaponry capable of planetary destruction.

Speed-wise, most of the characters are casually hypersonic to hypersonic+. Even fodder can move at hypersonic speeds.

Notable hax includes: Utsuro, Dark Vader, Kouka and No. 502's regeneration, Kouka and Utsuro's resurrecting blood, Tapir's transmutation, Kintoki's hypnosis, Batou's mind-reading, Bansai's pseudo-precog, Hankai's nanomachines, Gintoki's spirit exorcism, Oboro and Zenzou's acupuncture/pressure points, Umibouzu's regeneration negating Altana weaponry

As a verse, they're above the likes of Boku no Hero Academia, Claymore, and Hunter x Hunter and they are mostly comparable to the likes of D.Gray-Man.
