A few of the major (and some minor) cast of Smallville |
Background Information
Smallville was an American television series that debuted in October 2001 on the WB Television Network and ended in May 2011. Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the series follows the adventures of a young Clark Kent, in the town of Smallville, Kansas, before he becomes Superman. Along with novel tie-in and spin-offs, the series eventually continued in comic format in which his role as the Man of Steel is finally explored.
Standing in the Battledome
For most of its TV run, Smallville wasn't really known as a powerful verse. There were exceptions, but that hinged on possible (at the time) hyperbole. Nonetheless, Smallville had one thing they loved to depict as best they can; and that was speed. From Clark outrunning sniper fire from town distances away to frequent cross-continent trips in seconds, that stat was not in short supply.
With the finale, Clark has become known as one of the strongest live-action (at least TV) character. Once the comic sequel came around, other characters got in on the fun and provided a solid round to an alternative of the main DC comic mythos.
If we're speaking of the overall series power, they hover around universe level+ (not by direct character admission) with MFTL speeds and a rich number of hax and abilities that stem from the multitude of characters introduced TV and comic alike.
