Background Information

Chainsaw Man is an ongoing WSJ manga written and illustrated by Fujimoto Tatsuki.

"I guess Devil Hunter's the best for making money," proclaims chronically broke Denji, a Devil Hunter-for-hire. With his trusty chainsaw and chainsaw...dog, Denji vies to make it to his next meal; however, nothing is ever as it seems, and things never go as planned.''

The name says it all! Denji's life of poverty is changed forever when he merges with his pet chainsaw dog, Pochita! Now he's living in the big city and an official Devil Hunter. But he's got a lot to learn about his new job and chainsaw powers!

Standing in the Battledome

Chainsaw Man is an average verse in power, but still gets stronger.

The characters currently range from small building to large building level+ with at least subsonic (likely higher) speed. The Devils of the series are capable of high level regeneration if they're given enough human blood. Devils also have their own unique abilities, like zombify beings, mind control, forms of immortality and intangibility, regen, tk, limited space manipulation, etc.

Top tiers like the Gun Devil (who has possibly town level+ hype) and Awakened Makima are quad digits.

With their most hax and strongest fighters, they can easily rival and stomp many fighters from verses like MHA, Flame of Recca, Nurarihyon no Mago, Hunter x Hunter, etc.
