Background Information
A classic ongoing manga series with 8 parts so far created by Hirohiko Araki.
The parts 1-6 were shonen series but from part 7 and onwards, it became a seinen series.
One of the most popular universes in the OBD, although it wasn't so until Taleran pimped it out. It follows the Joestar family line and their conflict against various supernatural forces.
The long title is usually shortened to JJBA. The series contains many homages to real world people and bands, such as Stairway To Heaven mentioned above, which is a nod to the Led Zepellin song of the same name.
In case you've been living under a rock all this time, you should know that it's definitely worth reading
Because of its wide acclaim in the OBD, it gets the "stamp of quality."
There's also some great video games, like the All-Star Battle game for Playstation 3 and Eyes of Heaven for Playstation 4
Standing in the Battledome
The JJBA verse is known for being incredibly broken, containing powers such as Golden Experience Requiem (which will nullify pretty much any attack and put you into an eternal feeling of death) and Stairway to Heaven (which can destroy the entire universe and recreate it in the user's image).
They can range from building level+ up to at least city block level+ physically.
The verse has several Lightspeed/FTL/FTL+ characters/stands, a large variety of hax, few universal stands and a multiversal reality warper.
JJBA doesn't joke around.
Many of the characters are glass cannons however. This leads to one-sided match-ups. Typically, they either stomp or get stomped.
Many JJBA characters, notably Dio Brando and Jotaro Kujo, are considered to be very badass. Much more so than TTGL.
