Intelligence: According to human history he obtained omniscience from the side of “life”, but even he admits it isn’t true. Nonetheless, he’s one of the smartest characters in the series, with a wide knowledge about Little Garden and Outer World. He was one of the leaders of one of the biggest Communities in Little Garden, Arcadia. Baron possesses some kind of spiritual perception, enabling him to see what others don’t, literally seeing through souls.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
Baron La Croix: entity revered in some parts of South America. Haitian Voodoo God who rose from a rank of mere spirit into Divine one. His spirit status symbolizes various days celebrating dead, like: Higan, Dia de los Muertos, All Souls’ Day, etc. Thus his existence is far from average. This’s also the reason why in winter period his spirit status becomes stronger. Apparently his hat and suit are the core of his spirit status and true form. That’s because existence of “Goethe” is based on how he’s dressed (his followers dress like him at ceremonies and political activities, so he doesn’t have actual form and it simply symbolizes his existence) rather than his actual body.

Crossroads of Life and Death: domain managed by Baron. It’s a place where worlds of men and gods intersect, space extending without end. From this space Baron oversees road to Guinee (world of gods).

Sub-dimension: part of the Baron’s domain, detached and shaped by him. It takes form of peculiar semi-sphere, apparently heaven and earth are fused, skyscrapers and buildings so densely packed they look like scales of a fish, forming an unfamiliar city. There are also many roads, some leading to upwards and backwards and some left and right. He can control everything here and even create new things, like valleys and mountains or completely change its form, giving appearance of hell. It seems to have some sort of self-restorative function. Furthermore, one must bring power to destroy “stars” in order to bring it down.

World Compression: on his command, Baron can cause his realm to shrink into nothingness, instantly killing anyone inside.

Teleportation: Baron is one of the few beings in Little Garden that has privilege to open astral gates, thereby teleporting from one point to another. Baron possesses one of the “heavenly gates”, passing through Day of the Dead. Unlike Willa and Maxwell who can only maintain astral gate for mere moments, Baron can support it indefinitely by spreading it over area in the form of planar darkness. Thus, he can teleport target into any spot and position in its territory. At his prime, Baron teleportation abilities were so huge that he could transfer huge structures like Airborne Citadel or hundreds of Communities.

Life and Death Manipulation: as the one who stands in duality of those two concepts, Baron can manage life and death in number of ways. He can bring death and provide new life to the dead ones (he can’t perfom genuine resurrection though). Idea of “zombie” originated from him too. This’s probably a form of authority.

Possession: Baron can seemingly pull others from realm of death and acquire their bodies. Upon entering new body, core of his spirit status (tailcoat and hat) appear on this person.

Death Curse: Baron weaves curse that instantly kills his target. Exact workings of it are unknown.

Shadow Manipulation: unlike Leticia and Azi Dahaka who acquired their shadow abilities from dragon roots, Baron appears to wield different kind of power.

Shadow Mimicry: Baron can dissolve into shadow-like mass. In this form he’s almost invulnerable to injury and can move more swiftly. However, this isn’t passive and if attack is fast enough then he can’t defend.

Shadow Fusion: Baron can also fuse with existing shadows as an effective form of stealth.

Disintegration: Baron releases from hand shadows that shimmer like a hot pocket of air. Anything that comes in contact with it breaks into fragments before disintegrating completely. Dissolution effect is quick enough to work on building travelling at 3rd cosmic velocity.

Host Master: privilege to release inner universe and construct trial (Gift Game) made from spirit status of the user. It’s impossible to reject the game as they’re the very rules of Little Garden, hence one triggered it must be cleared. Originally, it was created as method to usurp portion of Last Embryo’s power and one of the few effective weapons against them. Baron’s Gift Game is unknown at the moment.
