It's non-toxic until it is met with an ultrasonic wave with a range of 8 or more meters. This chemical can be exposed to an individual in many ways. Muster distributes it to his victims in an unknown manner, it's implied that he can release it into the air. His cane is the trigger as it can release ultrasonic waves and anyone exposed to the Krista Morten that comes in physical contact with the cane will also be crystallized.
