Guardian of Q-City |
Name: Watchdog Man
Origin: One-Punch Man
Gender: Male
Classification: Human, furry, 12th Rank S-Class Hero
Age: Unknown.
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman strength, speed, durability, sense of smell and a beast-like fighting style capable of confusing and overwhelming Garou -- one of the most proficient hand-to-hand fighters in the series.
Weaknesses: None known.
Destructive Capacity: At least city level+ via powerscaling (Watchdog Man took human Garou apart. Garou is shown bloodied and bruised after the fight, thinking to himself that he's lucky to have escaped with his life and that he only got away because Watchdog Man doesn't chase enemies beyond his territory.)
Range: Melee range
Speed: Massively hypersonic+ (Watchdog-Man is fast enough to bat away Garou's Rock-Smashing Water Stream Fist like a game.)
Durability: At least city level+. (Watchdog Man takes no damage from the impact of his own attacks and can easily deflect attacks from human Garou.)
Lifting Strength: At least Class 100 via powerscaling (Watchdog Man is clearly stronger than human Garou who could match Tank Top Master.)
Striking Strength: Class PJ via powerscaling (Watchdog Man is comparable to human Garou who could counter swings from a less than max "fighting spirit" Metal Bat.)
Stamina: High. Watchdog Man's whole hero gimmick is vigilance. He stands guard all day and can bring down around 30 monsters in an afternoon and still be ready to take out a Demon level opponent.
Standard Equipment: Dog costume
Intelligence: At least average. Watchdog Man is a perceptive fighter, easily able to read Garou's advanced martial arts.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Unnamed Quadrupedal Combat Style: Watchdog Man fights on all fours, like a dog. Combined with his considerable speed and power, this style is unique enough to act as a counter against people trained exclusively in human-on-human combat.
- "Shake": This is less a technique than it is a humorous consequence of his outfit. Blocking openhanded strikes with his own hands creates the appearance of a dog offering its paw for the "shake" command.
