Devilman from the original manga

Background Information

Devilman is a completed shonen manga series with 5 volumes created by Go Nagai.

It has over a dozen reprints and in several different languages.

The manga's occult horror elements, extreme violence, badass fights and it's complex apocalyptic story line made it an instant hit.

There have also been three OVA, a live action movie that came out in 2004 and also has several other anime,crossovers, novels and manga series too.

For example, one of the stories known as Amon: The Darkside of the Devilman also known as Amon: The Apocalypse of Devilman is a manga spin off of the Devilman series from Go Nagai and it has 6 volumes.

The series is a re-telling of the last chapters of the series, but this time, Akira loses control of himself due to his sadness and depression from not being able to protect Miki, allows Amon to gain full control of Akira, and able to become Amon.

There is an OVA, loosely based on the manga which goes in an entirely different direction shortly after Amon gains control of Akira Fudo.

The stats of the most notable characters like Akira, Amon, Zennon, Sirene, Satan, Psycho Jenny and Jinmen can range and vary depending on the series.

God (the true top tier) is the strongest of the verse.

There are many large building level+/multi city block level+/city+/island+/country+/continent+ up to small planet level+ feats, with speed levels ranging from supersonic up to massively hypersonic up to lightspeed/FTL attack speeds which exist too, once again, depending on the versions who fight.

They also have a good amount of hax.

With their composite versions, especially the top tiers, they are easily stronger than the likes of RAVE, Yu Yu Hakusho and the HST.
