Powers and Abilities: Manipulation of the four elements (water, fire, earth and air) called bending, can enter the Avatar State, Roku can fly using a whirlwind underneath him, as the Avatar, Roku is the bridge between the human world and spirit world, allowing him to journey between the two through meditation, and communicate with spirits, such as speaking with his past lives and merging with the Water Spirit, he can obtain all power-ups that normal benders can (the full moon for waterbenders, Sozin’s Comet for firebenders)
Weaknesses: If Roku is ever killed in the Avatar State, the Avatar reincarnation cycle will be broken, needs earth or water for respective bending

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- The Avatar State: A defense mechanism which allows Roku to access all the knowledge and experience of every past Avatar. This state allows him to utilize all four elements at the same time on a very high level
- Fire Wave: Roku unleashes a wave of fire in one direction that knocks back enemies. Roku has very fine control over this power, as he was able to melt the chains binding the gAang while leaving them completely unharmed. Roku used it while being channeled through Aang.
- Rock Melt: Roku melted a large chasm in the floor of his temple, possibly through the whole building since he brought lava up from the foundations. Roku did this while being channeled through Aang
- Lava Control: Roku can bend molten lava.
- Air Wave: Roku unleashes a 360 degree wave of air that leveled Fire Lord Sozin's throne room. This also had fine control, as the pillar holding up Sozin was left standing. Used the Avatar State.
- Earth Tunnel: Roku can quickly burrow underground and pop up where enemies don't expect.
- Four Element Blasts: Roku shoot large blasts of fire, earth, water, and air one at a time and hold them simultaneously.
- Water Pillar: Roku creates a huge pillar of water and pushes it forward to attack.
- Earth Wall: Roku lifts up a massive rock wall.
- Ice Breath: Roku exhales a blast of air cold enough to freeze lava.
- Earth Board: Roku stands on a slab of earth and uses it for fast transport.
- Tornado Riding: Roku can lift himself up on a small tornado for limited flight.
- Air Sphere: A sphere of wind surrounds Roku, protecting him from attacks in any direction. Roku held it for quite a bit, protecting his whole village from a volcano's pyroclastic flow. In the Avatar State it can be indefinitely sustained and used for flight.
