Weaknesses: A solar eclipse disables firebending. Betrayal by her friends drove her insane, decreasing her firebending prowess

Intelligence: One of the smartest villains out there, dangerously genre-savvy. She isn't convinced when she notices a large dust cloud and is told that "it's probably nothing". In the second season finale she attacks and nearly kills Aang in the middle of his transformation sequence! Upon hearing "No one could survive that", she assumes he did survive... She has had occasional moments of genre-blindness, but learns from them. She initially had a Redshirt Army, but instead traded it for a supporting cast of named characters. After one screws up her plan, and after she tried to go after Aang alone, her next attempt was accompanied by her brother and an entire squad of secret police. Orchestrated a coup to capture Ba-Sing-Se, blackmailed her brother, and planned for the Avatar's return when everyone thought he was dead. Once broken, not so clever.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Firebending: A form a psychic martial arts that is mainly practiced in the Fire Nation. It involves making powerful, dynamic movements to create scorching hot flames that can inflict considerable damage. The flames are directly powered by one's chi. By adapting smoother movements and calming the mind, an adept Firebender can generate super fast streams of chi lightning.
- Fireball: A basic ball of fire. Can be briefly charged to increase power.
- Fire Stream: Azula shoots a continuous stream of fire. This stream can be widened to create flame-thrower like techniques
- Fire Shield: Azula creates a sphere of fire around her for protection, then explodes it, causing a blinding flash that helps her escape enemies.
- Fire Punch: Azula consumes her hand in fire and punches with it.
- Fire Screen: Azula briefly creates a large wall of fire in front of her for protection.
- Fire Blade: Azula shoots a long, thin blade of fire and slices with it, capable of chopping up buildings.
- Fire Disk: A whirling disk of flame, used at long range.
- Blazing Rings & Arcs: Spinning kicks or sweeping arm movements create rings and arcs to slice larger, more widely spaced, or evasive targets.
- Lightning Bolt: Azula separates yin and yang energy and brings them crashing back together, creating and guiding a bolt of lightning.
- Jet Propulsion: Azula shoots a constant stream of fire behind her, propelling her forward. Can be used simply to increase her speed or for limited flight. She can abruptly stop and shoot the fire behind her forward in a powerful attack.
