Name: It, Pennywise the Dancing Clown, Robert Gray, The Spider (the title of her true form)
Origin: It (part of The Dark Tower verse)
Gender: Female (but often appears as male)
Classification: Demon Elemental
Age: Unknown, older than the It universe
Powers and Abilities: As the physical avatar form (which the human mind can only approximate as being a giant spider): super strength, speed, durability, and stamina, shapeshifting (often by perceiving people and children's deepest fears), telepathy (could make people carry out violent acts and not notice her presence, could invade dreams, read minds, and made the entire town of Derry apathetic to her actions), levitation, weather manipulation, illusion creation, immortality (type 4 due to being connected to the Deadlights since it's heavily implied in later books that the Loser's Club's efforts didn't put It down for good), teleportation, could invade TV and radio signals, dimensional travel and reality warping (stated as able to make humans live around 500 years longer and make them Gods on Earth, made the impossible children death rates in Derry unknowable to the outside world, noted that she could inflict any internal disease at a whim, made a house much bigger on the inside than it was on the outside and used it to make a member of the Loser's Club appear further away from the rest of the gang than he actually was via spatial manipulation, and can make pictures come to life as well as lure people in the photo itself if they get careless) | Possesses all of the above and more
Weaknesses: Children with a powerful enough imagination (only a small group through centuries, maybe much longer, achieved that and seemed destined to do so) can damage or even cripple the avatar form through believing it possible (however this was due to higher cosmic powers working through them, they couldn't have done it on their own)
Destructive Capacity: City block level (caused the disappearance of 300 settlers at one point, and the last showdown with the Loser's Club caused the most destructive storm in Derry's history which ended up devastating its downtown region resulting in entire streets sinking) | Omniverse level (As the Deadlights, It's the natural enemy of Maturin, transcends the Macroverse which contains infinite levels each infintely bigger than the last and exists as a Demon Elemental who guards and sustains the dark side of all of them)
Range: Hundreds of meters | Omniversal through the Deadlights
Speed: Varies depending on the form taken
Durability: City block level+ (It's arrival on Earth was like a meteor crash, humans only damaged the avatar form through weakness exploitation) | Omniverse level (true form is non-corporeal and not subjected to physical rules of the universe)
Lifting Strength: Superhuman | N/A
Striking Strength: Superhuman (can rip humans apart and stand in the middle of massive sewer flooding without budging) | N/A
Stamina: Months at a time (since it hibernates afterwards)
Standard Equipment: Nothing
Intelligence: Can cunningly pass as a human being despite only caring about set patterns of feeding and hibernating and being unaware of Dark Tower cosmology
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Deadlights: It's true form, a cosmic living light phenomenon that the human mind can't grasp and resides in the Macroverse (a void outside and above the level of reality occupied by the universe It takes place in; very similar to the later named "Todash Darkness"). They are linked to the avatar form, which can use them as a weapon that physically destroys the mind (a victim fell instantly dead bleeding from eyes and ears upon gazing at It's spider form) while at the same time pull the consciousness away from the body and the universe to wander, forever and insane, in the Macroverse
Notable OBD Victories:
Notable OBD Losses:
Other:
It was only defeated (never truly killed) by children (later adults) that as a group counted with the help and will of external cosmic forces, like Gan and Maturin, along with their own efforts.
