He tends to plan things in advance, often having multiple backup plans and manipulating others to secure his intentions. However, he was also quick to seize an opportunity should one present itself, using guile and cunning to turn a situation to his advantage. His alchemical knowledge is shown during his attempted experiments on Wugui, creating a pained, inhuman coloured puppet and some kind of living meat structure. He brands the end result as a failure. Has read the three holy books the Émigré Document (has the power to manipulate time and undo death), Pulse Tract (has the power to manipulate the elemental forces of nature and manifest the planet's life-force) and the Codex of R'lyeh (records the true nature of the Outer Gods and gives the reader knowledge of how to call out to such beings) granting Albert Simon insight into the nature of the universe, including the fact he is in a video-game, while Albert never addresses the audience as Roger does, it seems likely he at the very least knows of it.
