Background Information

An animated series run on Cartoon Network, made by Genndy Tartakovsky, the creator of Dexter's Laboratory and the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. It revolves around a Samurai who is sent to the future by Aku, a demon - like creature, and has to find and defeat Aku and return to the past. Samurai Jack gained popularity in the OBD when Endless Mike posted a list of very impressive feats. At the time, he hadn't seen the show for a while, so not all of them were quite accurate, but for the most part it was correct. Also there were many feats he missed.

Standing in the Battledome

Samurai Jack is considered to be very powerful, and his plot device sword is considered to be broken.

Jack can be an effective combatant in various fights.

There are also many other strong characters in the Jackverse, such as The Scotsman, who can fight evenly with Jack, Aku, who is an immortal evil being with limited reality warping powers and is easily a planetary threat, as well as various gods and goddesses.

Pitting Jack against Naruto characters was once considered to be a popular OBD pastime, but the repetitive rape got boring after a while (maybe years ago, that is).

Due to Jack's popularity years ago, an anti Jack faction emerged, but it was not very influential.

The series is not used very much in the OBD as of 2016, but is still beloved by many members.
