Background Information
Sengoku Basara is a series of hack and slash games made by Capcom, as well as one of the best and over the top anime
Expect lots of badassness
Sengoku Basara takes place during the 1600s, during the Sengoku era of Japan. The main plot of the anime is several warlords forming an alliance to stop the local dark lord Oda Nobunaga, while the second season's plot centers around Toyotomi Hideyoshi's campaign for power. Anyone who appeared in the game and was not treated as a disposable cannon fodder tears though armies by themselves in the anime per usual.
The two main characters and poster boys of the series are Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura.
At first, they started as rivals but allied to stop Nobunaga in the first season.
The series has various games and a few anime series as well as an anime movie which was excellent.
The anime/movie is based on the game's story with some minor differences.
Standing in the Battledome
Anime: The characters range from massively hypersonic+ to sub-relativistic+ speed-wise.
DC and durability can range from city level to continent level. Hax wise they have some soul manipulation, resurrection, intangible attacks, and time manipulation.
This makes them easily stronger than the likes of Boku no Hero Academia, D.Gray-Man, Hunter x Hunter, and RAVE. They're capable of fighting many strong characters from Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Games: The characters range from massively hypersonic+ to FTL+ speed with at least multi-continent level+ to large planet level+ DC.
They mostly have the same hax abilities as seen in the anime.
This makes them hilariously superior to the HST and more on par with Saiyan Saga/Namek Saga Dragon Ball characters, Toriko high tiers, and Asura's Wrath's high tiers.
