Speed: Very fast and agile for his size, has hypersonic+ reactions (was able to react to Pain)
Durability: Multi city block level+ (was able to tank a steroid blank from Shukaku, survived being knocked outside of the Konoha crater by Pain's Shinra Tensei)

- Water Release: Gunshot: A water attack where Gamabunta forms balls of water in his mouth that he fires at his opponent. They are able to match Shukaku's Steroid blanks and can be fired 2 at a time.
- Fire Release: Toad Oil Flame Bullet: A technique used when teamed up with Jiriaya. Gamabunta fires a stream of oil from his mouth while Jiraiya combines it with a fire attack, creating a massive amount of fire able to engulf multiple city blocks.
