Intelligence: Very smart. For most of the series he's the one behind the scenes, and in front, devising and putting together multiple plans before his master is resurrected. He learns from previous fights, as with Yakumo, and develops countermeasures for various techniques and skills
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
An-Yui - Another Dark elemental summon whcih fires a dark cloud over the enemy, taking away their 5 senses (and possibly affected their ability to sense ki properly )
Fu Yao Zhi Zhu - Monster Trap Spider - A summon technique that brings forth a large spider that not only seals the opponent but drains them of their ki/magic.
Don-Shue-Chu - Cold Blood Ball - Techniuqe that freezes the opponent in a targeted area.
Su-Tien-Sheng-Jing-Fong-Hoang - A spell that summons four small beasts to erect a barrier around the user. Can protect against some attack and sealing techniques.
"Dragon" Benares
A powerful form that Benares shows only once (well, fully shown) in the series. Near the end of the Madurai Arc, Yakumo tries to seal Benares in the Earth, but miscalculates (as they are actually on the moon) and finds Benares has transformed into a powerful dragon, one which erupts with incredible power such that the seal is overpowered and broken. As he shows no control in this form (as he's enraged and struggling to break from the seal so he may have full control under normal conditions), he expels powerful energy blasts and has much higher durability. All but one of Yakumo's spells were useless to this form of Benares. Its body (from a view of its mouth), looks less like flesh and more energy-based than most demons and beasts.
Dragon Spirit Swirl - An attack used only in dragon form. Benares releases a deadly energy that "swirls", hence the name, around the battlefield.
Those who come in contact with it are attacked by it. It starts off swirling around Benares at ground level and quickly expands hundreds meters,
possibly further as it destroys those it touches.
