The Silver Crystal takes on a multitude of shapes, including round, diamond, rose, heart, star, and lotus, and it turns pink while stored within the brooches of both Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon. The Silver Crystal eventually evolves into a Sailor Crystal for both Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon, the Silver Moon Crystal and Pink Moon Crystal respectively.
Sailor Moon has equipped the Silver Crystal to various different weapons and ornaments. These include the Moon Stick, Moon Rod, Moon Sceptre, Moon Kaleidoscope and her brooch. Sailor Chibi Moon has equipped it to her brooch, Moon Rod, Moon Kaleidoscope and Pink Moon Stick.
Other: The Silver Crystal has two primary powers: the ability to generate a powerful magical attack and the power to rejuvenate (both physically and mentally), Queen Serenity first initiates use of the Silver Crystal to remove negative influences from the Earth and also to send Princess Serenity and her court to Earth. It was also used to send the souls of her fallen subjects into the future to be reincarnated, which cost the queen her life. The Silver Crystal also extends the life of the user and those around them if they do not use it to its limit. The Silver Crystal becomes less of a weapon when it evolves into a Sailor Crystal for both Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon as it becomes part of them like any other Senshi and their crystal.
