Technology/Abilities: The Yato is a technologically advanced race (most in Gintama are) some such as Kamui is currently an admiral of the Harusame Space Pirates and is in possession of FTL war fleets with town to possibly city level destructive capacity, the Yato themselves have super strength, speed, durability, agility, dexterity, endurance, enhanced senses, are master hand-to-hand fighters, get stronger at night, individually they vary in destructive capacity from at least building level+ to city level with hypersonic to hypersonic+ speed, they all have specially made umbrellas that are incredibly durable and are their primary weapons, the umbrellas can also shoot explosive rounds (Kagura's can shoot lasers and soy sauce (yeah, soy sauce)), they can also be used as shields because they're so durable
Weaknesses: The sunlight weakens them, the Yato are genetically incapable of adapting to the sunlight, Housen has been out of the sunlight for decades which means sunlight can easily kill him
Industrial Capacity: The large majority of Yato is now under the Harusame Space Pirates with Kamui as their admiral, the Harusame are in possession of small fleets used for invasion or transportation, alien hunters such as Umibouzu also has some high tech transportation
