Background Information

The Kuzunoha Raidou series is a spin-off series of the Devil Summoner series which are part of the gigantic conglomerate that is the Shin Megami Tensei series. The story of the series involves Raidou Kuzunoha, a Devil Summoner and his adventures while working for the Narumi Detective Agency (not to be confused with a similarly named agency from another awesome series) at the same time, protecting the Capital from evil. The series spans across two PS2 games (Soulless Army and King Abaddon), manga adaption (Kuzunoha Raidou vs the Lone Marebito), and a prequel novel (Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou tai Shibito Ekishi lit. vs The Messenger of the Dead). The setting of the series is pre-Shin Megami Tensei and Persona. In fact, the series is the divergence point for both series.

Standing in the Battledome

The series standing in the OBD is very powerful due to the involvement of Lucifer and his minions in King Abaddon. Raidou himself is no slouch since he can stalemate Lucifer. Not to mention the various types of hax involved in the series such as dimension travel, time travel, luck manipulation, illusions, andsoulfuck.
