Notable Attacks/Techniques
- Arrogante (Arrogant/Great Skull Emperor): This is the name of his Zanpakutō, a large battle-axe. Its release command is "Rot".
- Senescencia (Senescence): Baraggan is able to dilate time around him, thereby reducing the speed of any target that comes near him. The ability also allows him to accelerate the age of whatever he touches, causing the appropriate damage that comes with aging.
- Resurrección: Rot: Arrancar seal the nuclei of their abilities within the form of a sword, entirely different from what the Shinigami use. When they release their weapons' seals, they unleash their true power and their true form. When releasing his Zanpakutō, jet-black/purple flames are spawned that literally burn away Baraggan's flesh, reducing his entire body to little more than a skeleton, complete with his head becoming a skull and his hands and arms reduced to bone.
- Enhanced Senescencia: While in his Resurrección form, Baraggan is able to age and deteriorate every object around him; even the very building he walks upon begins deteriorating from his mere presence
- Respira (Breath of Death): Baraggan unleashes a black/purple, smoke-like miasma that radiates outward from him. The Respira immediately ages and rots anything that it comes into contact with. ven after escaping the attack, the deterioration continued until the afflicted area had been amputated. Another notable aspect of the ability is that Baraggan can control its speed. Baraggan is protected from the effects of his own ability. However, this protection is negated if his Respira somehow enters his own body.
- Gran Caída (Axe of Ruin): A Resurrección form of his original double-bladed axe, which he keeps hidden within his cloak.
- Sonido: An Arrancar's high speed movement technique to achieve enhanced burst of speed over short distances. Equivalent to the Shinigamis' Shunpo.
- Hierro (Steel Skin): A technique in which the user's reiryoku condenses, hardening their skin. The strength of Arrancars' Hierro depends on their spiritual power.
- Cero (Hollow Flash): A standard energy blast, it consists of firing a powerful blast of concentrated spiritual energy at the target.
- Bala (Hollow Bullet): A technique that hardens the user's Reiatsu and releases it in a swift blast of spiritual energy. Though its significantly weaker than Cero, it is quicker to execute and also faster.
- Descorrer (Drawing Opening): A technique used by Espada-level Arrancar and sometimes others, to open a Garganta between the living world and Hueco Mundo.
