Intelligence: Average human intelligence but gets smarter and more crafty as the series progresses. Even makes use of his immortality and severed limbs to fight
Notable Attacks/Techniques:

- Kuan-Yaa: Noise Flash: A light-based technique that launches a serpent-like beast that attacks the enemy. Can be bounced off shiny objects like mirrors

- Tou-Chao: A beast summon that is used like a 3-bladed claw with melee range

- Shii Suu: A summon that uses a dark elemental serpent-like beast that causes instant petrification when it strikes enemies

- Shou-Rin: summons a beast that can fly short distances ( later replaced with Chia-Chi-Kuu for better flight capabilities )

- An-Yui: Another Dark elemental summon which fires a dark cloud over the enemy, taking away their 5 senses (and possibly affected their ability to sense ki properly)

- Chia-Chi-Kuu: A pair of 2m+ large mantis-like arms that can be used for CQC and that double as wings for flight.

- Flame of Binding: A spell in shape of a sphere Yakumo gets after fusing with another Wu named Amara. Allows the user the ability to take control over another person's summon, allowing Yakumo to use it on his enemies instead

- Flame of Conscience: The 2nd sphere spell Yakumo gets from Amara. This spell allows Yakumo to redirect his opponents energy attacks back on his opponent.

- Kuu-Yon: The "Magikarp" of the series in terms of beast magics. It's a ball-shaped beast summon Yakumo gets before the Madurai-Moon arc. In which it can eat any type of magic. Magic-eating dust is spread across the area, making magic/ki useless. This technique can work on barriers, illusions and most other techs and abilities that require or based on magic/ki.

- Spell Mouse: A technique given to Yakumo before Madurai died. It allows Madurai to take over Yakumo's body and pulls out hidden potential that even Yakumo couldn't use, as well as giving Yakumo and using it with his body, his own summons, techniques as well. This summon is destroyed later in the very same arc, which effectively terminates his link with Madurai's consciousness.

- Demon Seal Spell: A spell that Yakumo gets from Madurai. Using the power of the land he's on and an incantation, he seals the opponent into the ground. The spell's strength is dependent on how much energy is in the land ( i.e. THe earth is a better place to seal than the moon ).

- Snake Spell Bind: N/A.

- Switch: Basic spell that allows the user to teleport short distances from one point to another, with range of 20 or so meters.
