Shinza Bansho
                                                                    Everyone here is batshit insane.

Background Information

Also known as Kami Sama Series, is a Visual Novel series written by Masada Takashi (self-proclaimed God Fourteenn, Family Man, and Master of Love. skills include simultaneous smoking & drinking during live-action shows and being a total S to his own characters) and produced by studio Light. Art is done by G Yuusuke (minus Paradise Lost, which was done by Mineoka Yuuki), while music composition by Yonao Keishi. First game (Paradise Lost) was aired in 2004th and series as a whole is still ongoing. Author is known for his over-the-top chuuni’s writing and almost fanatical love toward…well, love.

While the plot is generally pretty generic (but without much bs and plot holes), characters are the main gem of this franchise; most of the time nonsensical and crazy, but memorable and with LOTS of charisma.

Connection of stories between games vary a lot, but it always involve Throne – center of universe through which victims of 8th Grade Syndrome Gods force their wishes upon the rest of creation.

Masada Takashi is also an author of Senshinkan Series, but both of these franchises don't share the same world.

Standing in the Battledome

Shinza Bansho as a whole is among the most powerful VNs out there, with each game pushing it further on a totem pole.

On average it doesn’t seem so impressive and is around Nasuverse, with a good hax being its strongest point, such characters can range from street level to city/country busting. Among them are beings who are tier above them, with continental dc and durability, speed well into triple digits and hax that is often OHK. These include: Ancient Gods, Dust Angels and Reinhard MOTHERFUCKING Heydrich (who is so hawt even Gods want to 69 him).

Main dish however, is when we get to high and top tiers. There we have aforementioned Gods who can vaporize universes just by reisatsu crush, suck and shit out infinite amount of souls and treat reality and its aspects like a sheets for their delusional worlds. Any God is universal by logic (they create their own universe/independent law that rewrites the rest of creation), but that's just standard/common factor. In reality, even weakest Gods busted multiple universes at once.

For these reasons, Gods treat their abilities and "techniques" as a secondary tool in battles. Cravings, power of souls (also delusions) and emotions is the main sword they strike with.

Also, Hajun smashes, plain and simple. Rumors says he cut entire universe just by whiping his dick around. But naturally, it's false...he did so with multiverse. Quite possibly he's not the strongest anymore topkek.

Note! Shinza Bansho has its own unique power ranking (at least Gods have) based on numerical value of their Taikyoku (see below). It's an adamant rule within the franchise that God with lower Taikyoku can NEVER win against God with a higher one, even if the one with lower Taikyoku has visibly far better parameters (however, author almost exclusively provides God with higher Taikyoku with higher stats to avoid confusion, but that's not always the case. See <Tenma Yatou> as an example). Which also means that character with no Taikyoku can never win against even the weakest God. For this reason, you should take this aspect with a grain of salt, and treat it as nothing more than a concept for powerscaling.

Cosmology

Based on various statements and existing feats, we can describe several aspects of its reality, all of them being divided between "eras" when particular God reigned over:

  • Dai Ichi/Ni/San Ten era: This period of time wasn’t aware of multiverse concept at all*. Universe and time were singular, and special techniques/devices had to be used to identify past, present and future.

While having only a single universe, creation of Dai Ni Ten had numerous higher dimensions beyond material world (called Kingdom). 9 of them belonging to Hell, and 9 to Heaven, with the last dimension of Hell being divided into 3 parts.

    * This statement was subject of many discussions, because it was said that Mercurius arrived to Satanel’s universe from Outer Universe of “another universe, and another time”. It could mean that 1) multiverse already existed as a possibility and Mercurius created it and proceeded to incorporate it into Throne, 2) this “another universe” is actually Mercurius himself, 3) fuck this, NEET is a time paradox (ironically, probably the most logical explanation).

  • Dai Yon-Go Ten’s era: After Cosmic Pervert from Outer Universe arrived in Satanel’s universe, he brought the biggest change to Throne in the history of Gods: destroying and rewriting Throne’s system, encompassing past, present and future, simultaneously controlling multidimensional parallel universe he created infinite amount of universes, with his grasp extending to multiverse and multitime.

Twillight Beach: it’s a realm created by Mercurius for Marie, existing somewhere between Singularity and Throne, its appearance is that of a beach (duh) with sun casting perpetual twilling over it, it’s of infinite size and time can’t move forward here. It's a world outside of creation's providence, that's why normal people can't live here (since concepts of life and death don't apply here), only beings (in other words, Gods) that are immutable and eternal. Domain of universal unconsciousness, exceeding area of selflessness, at the bottommost layer of consciousness, but still far from the Throne. Moreover, in IkaBey after-credits scene it’s suggested that Mercurius dreams universes into existence from here (or at least mistakes each time loop for new universe). Azathoth intensifies.

  • Dai Roku Ten’s era: this era has variable amount of universes, due to Hajun’s destruction and Yato’s cockblock. Near the end of game, only one universe remains having expanded to infinity.

Infinite possibilities: unlike other fictions, possibilities here don’t exist concurrently, but are stored in another dimension, and variable time axes: Kujo Shiori’s Taikyoku dwells in the infinite possibilities of present, Mikado Ryusui’s Distortion/Taikyoku dwells in the infinite possibilities of the future, hence we can conclude that each time axis has its own possible universes. These possibilities most likely existed in Dai Yon Ten’s era, but due to Mercurius specific Atziluth, they were worthless.

  • Dai Nana Ten’s era: this reign brings and combines all previous laws (bar Dai Roku Ten – Dai Yokukai Tengu Dou) and combines them together, each one of them is a form of afterlife.

Shared Terms

Throne: also known as Seat, Judecca, Taikyoku Seat, Crown and Vertex. It‘s a center of universe, source of all phenomena and knowledge. Place where Hadou God can repaint canvas of creation with its own craving and rule everything as an omnipotent and omniscient God. No creation can occur outside of Throne, every newborn universe is immediately brought under its jurisdiction.

In Dai Ichi Ten’s era, when technology of humanity reached its pinnacle, and humans engaged in interstellar war, military under command of a certain girl (later Dai Ichi Ten) decided to create device based on “binding of the universe” and “time travel” – they didn’t managed to do it, and byproduct of this project is Throne.

In the eras of the first 3 Hadou Gods, it took a form of cutting-edge machine, existing outside of time, but defining it in reality.

Since Mercurius took reign, Throne changed into…something. It’s said to be a super-dimensional space, so bizarre that it can’t be described in language.

There are multiple ways to reach Throne, it’s usually done by opening and diving into Singularity, but also by projecting one’s own soul and even by the use of technology (at least in Dai Ichi-San Ten’s era).

Throne has somehow parasitic nature, as it drains Gods of their souls and history. God themselves either doesn’t notice it, or just don’t care. Also, Hadou God who currently reigns over the Throne can use this history and their own laws/souls, for his/her own purposes. See <Memory of Throne>.

Throne is a special realm reserved only for Gods, thus if anyone beside them would try to assess it, phenomenon known as Judgment of Annihilation will remove unworthy existence from its very origin. Naturally, it has no effect on Gods themselves.

Because of its nature, only Hadou Gods can hold Throne, and only one at a time. If another Hadou God would occur then hegemony over Throne would start, with stronger God naturally crushing the weaker one.

Because Hadou Gods have such a huge mass, Throne functions as a scaffold for them, otherwise they would break the universe.

Throne and God sitting upon it have a huge role in developing new life and managing evolution. The more souls are born, they bigger universe becomes and territory of Gods increases proportionally. How souls are managed is a choice of Gods: deities like Dai Ichi/Ni/San Ten haven't created afterlife, thus souls disappear after death, but since they give birth to new souls, the universe remains stable. Exception is Dai Roku Ten (Hajun), who not only doesn’t have an afterlife, but he removes the very possibility of new souls occurring, causing universe to gradually shrink towards perpetual nothingness.

In the deepest part of the Throne, exist being known as Observer. See <Observer>.

  • Singularity: it's a place outside of Throne's domination. In a follow-up to Hadou Gods battle being compared to "painting", various characteristics associated with that were added. One of such is Singularity, hole in the canvas (world) due to clash of Hadou Gods.

Act of drilling through Singularity is significant if a new Hadou God desires to takeover the Throne, since it's nothing more than passage toward it. Hadou God uses it Taikyoku to drill hole in a higher dimensions, thus creating path where challenger and current God meet. Since laws of physics are completely in turmoil here, it can be described as falling to "nowhere".

Moreover, because singularity is completely disconnected from outside world, one side can't affect another. For example, if two people have lifelink (that's, one dies if another dies) and are in respective domains, one's death can't affect other person. This also means that Gods can battle here without fear of damaging outside world (which also means that death of the current Hadou God won't affect other worlds and new God doesn't have to rebuild them). Since it also severs connection of Hadou God with souls, they can't go outside of Singularity (in other words, reality) without flooding this place with another Taikyoku (it seems that it applies only to purebred Gods). Thus, it can be compared to "dropping a brush" and Hadou God no longer has a "tool" to paint.

Depth of Singularity changes in accordance of Hadou God's power. When Mercurius held Throne, time of fall was just few minutes. However, when Hajun held Throne, it couldn't be reached even after 7000-8000 years. The smaller difference between Gods' power, then faster to its destination.

Although described as a "place", it's impossible to properly define it. Singularity is a colorless and transparent unspace, it can't even be said to be "anywhere". Being a canvas of the reality it's something that can't be put in the words. Past, present and future; all of creation is mixed here and exists side by side and only Gods can't define such a huge amount of information. Embodying "nothing" in the mind of humanity, it's a void that have reached limits of sterility. Infinite abyss that diffuses spirits of all but Gods, bringing fear with just its vastness. However, Gods themselves can use this place to give form to new idea and law. Without walking or flying, using special kind of movement permitted only to them.

Singularity is a place where "afterimages" of previous Hadou Gods flow in chaotic form. Mere shadows of their former glory, they must by overcame and understood by challenger who decided to takeover the Throne.

History of the Throne

Pre-Dai Ichi Ten

Background Information

World where technological progress of mankind was at its highest (apparently, civilisation so advanced that "it can not be imagined at present").

People used this knowledge to create technology capable of turning mere human into God, unifying principles of time travel and knitting the universe, technological wonder called Throne was created (although, it wasn't the original project). Nevertheless, countless interstellar warfares occured as everyone wanted to seize this system for themselves.

Ultimately, unnamed woman, later known as Dai Ichi Ten, emerged victorious and her wish becamse the new universal order.

Meanwhile, certain man who has fought alongside Dai Ichi Ten, fused with Throne and proclaimed that he will defend this system for all eternity, pledging his undying love to her. This man is Naraka.

System of Throne can't be surpassed unless technological advancement will reach era when Throne itself was created, thus as long as dispute between Gods occurs, world will always be under its influence. Knowing that, Naraka took a mantle of Observer, being that will be present in all eras, ensuring (through avatars) that civilisation won't reach such a high level.

In other words, world of space opera.

Taikyoku: Nigenron
Type: Management
Time of reign: 20,000-30,000 years
Type of world: Medieval fantasy

Background Information

On her quest to seize Throne, Dai Ichi Ten killed many people. In order to escape from accumulated guilt, her wish took shape "I killed those who are evil, that's why I'm good. You must not harbor any sense of evil in your own right of justice, otherwise it cannot be tolerated.

Through this self-righteous desire, her universe divides humanity into polar opposites, good and evil. Law of Dualism, Nigenron.

Due to clear division in ethics, many actions cannot be taken even if it's obvious that it will be prosperous. Moreover, because of her conviction that "those who aim for hegemony are evil" and "good is a light that continues to struggle on the edge of defeat"; good is always inferior in a battle against evil. Contraditction giving shape to desire that "it's impossible to defend goodness while being good" (seed that will later emerge as a new Hadou God).

Background Information

Setting of Paradise Lost.

Dai Ni Ten was originally a human fighting at the virtuous side during Dai Ichi Ten's reign. But all he could feel toward himself was pity that he can never defeat evil. Believing that good can never defeat evil, he decided to fight evil with evil, giving form to his wish "Because of goodness, me and my people are held back by countless shackles. A lot of inquities outside of our reach. Good can't overthrow evil, that's why my people, eat evil with evil".

Thus, under reign of Dai Ni Ten, everyone harbors seeds of evil. Despite this, it's a natural world, without shelving ethics, providing people with freedom. However, souls of some people are inscribed with original sin (原罪), which naturally degenerates with progress of civilisation. Circle of destruction and regeneration, is the essence of this civilisation.

Seemingly world of malicious intent, but its nature is far more noble. Dai Ni Ten's desire was, in the end, rejection of evil. However, since Dai Ni Ten is ignorant of Throne's system, he created world of evil without his intention, but misunderstanding of Dai Ichi Ten's world: he created "world without evil to destroy", "world where evil is destroyed without struggle", while Dai Ichi Ten's created "evil to destroy", "evil must be destroyed by struggle", thus good won't arise and fight was pointless from the very beginning. World of instincts, freedom and nature, but not inhumane evil.

Despite the fact his reign is the shortest among all Gods, in a mere 5000 years this civilisation managed to achieve huge technological advancement, at the level of cyberpunk. Meanwhile some Gods who had reign several times of his own could build world only comparable to our own.

Observer of this world is Judas Strife.

According to author himself, this world's nature is the closest one to our own.

Background Information

Neros Satanel, man born in the world of Dai Ni Ten. Standing at the center of the first transition period, witnessing cycle of destruction and restoration with his very own eyes, he grieved beyond limit: "What a sinful man I am. How foolish is a God that gave bith to man like me". And so his wish took shape "I want to rescue this sinful world". Prayer that purifies sins, law that emerged from mourning of salvation.

Realization of this craving is utopia itself. Society in which emotions, lives and future is completely managed by Satanel. Original sins and desires are purged, people commit no crimes, but only good deeds. Live eternally in peace, with no ambition, no competition and no dreams. They just exist, live and die.

Thus, it's the only God that managed to destroy evil. The most God-like God.

However, because's it's too clean, too sterile, too fair, logical and sincere; it cannot tolerate flaws of others and even himself. In other words, a single stain, no matter how minuscule would be, will irreversibly cause him to succumb to his perfectionism and enable other God to takeover without any fight. When he encountered Pervert from Outer Space this's exactly what happened.

It's world resembling precise machine, with all gears working together to maintain order. Because people have no desire, it doesn't have human nature, so there's no boundary between himself and others.

Despite its flaws, WoG confirmed that it has the highest degree of completion among all Gods. It doesn't have self-destructive factor, so it can't be destroyed from inside and since all emotions are managed, birth of a new God is very low. Still, he can't protect himself from outside.

Background Information

Setting of Dies irae.

Management that is distortion of 3 previous generations, no longer defining what is good and what is bad, but realizing his own wish. Law born from desire “ending such as this is unacceptable”, “I want to taste unknown”, “I want to grasp convincing result” and “I want to try again”. It’s an order that repeats the same time many times in order to find satisfactionary result. People under this law repeat the same life infinitely. 4 legs in the morning, 2 legs in the afternoon, 3 legs in the evening; and when the flame of candle fades away, process is repeated. Every soul goes back to the womb of their mother to start over.

Lifetime without finish, going through eternal life, hence he desired only one thing, curtain that would end his story. Cursing lack of freshness, lack of unknown to experience, his world is just a ghetto where he’s at mercy of known sense.

Harboring contradictory desire, he reached Throne the moment he perceived himself there. His law transcends time axis, reverses cause and effect, in other words, he’s God that became a God at the moment of his death, Mercurius existence itself is an inversed causality. Beginning and end are one, law of two-headed snake. Reason and theory doesn’t work, he made it possible by comprehending past, present and future. Simultaneously managing multiverse and multitime he made this absurdity possible. Up until now, Throne was composed of single universe and single time, by destroying/rewriting Throne itself he obtainted the largest territory from the previous generations. To Dai San Ten he’s monster that came from another universe and another time axis.

It’s a law of nigh-perfection, with his diversity and management. Even if he will die he can just start over. Even if natural enemies will challenge him he can exclude them from his world. Throne with the highest degree of survivability, one with the longest reign.

But, he’s the one who desires death above else, to die in the embracement of Marguerite. Result he can’t grasp due to his death by the hands of Apoptosis. Since when he had feeling of déjà vu? He can’t know that unless he’s at his deathbed, making the same mistake over and over. Mistaking memories of his Sensory with his true self sitting at the centre of Throne. In order to satisfy his desire he gave birth to Sensory. Desiring to understand known sense, detested lack of unknown, he wanted to “understand source of known sense” hence and the moment of his death he “knows everything”, without realizing it’s a source of known sense in the first place. Contradiction that he couldn’t escape from.

Ultimately, he decided to hand over Throne to his beloved Goddess and and thus, new heaven was born.

Background Information

Marguerite Breuil. Girl born in 1793, Saint-Malo, France. Mute at the age of ten, her first words was refrain about fulfilling guillotine with blood. Born with a curse that decapitates anyone who touches her, she lived in isolation and solitude. One day, at the age of 17, she herself fell victim to the guillotine.

Ascending to godhood, her soul was completely removed from reality and doctrine of Eigou Kaiki, becoming (imperfect) Gudou God, sealing herself inside and thus not making contact with outside world anymore, inhabiting Twillight Beach she’s singing there alone, for all aternity.

Mercurius, who at the moment of his death saw and fell in love with her, decided to break this shell and make her a new Hadou God, that would take Throne under her own rule.

During a story of Dies irae, seeing preciousness and beauty of life, her craving eventually took shape “I want to embrace everything”. Universe where “all humans will be happy one day”. Wish of Goddess that grants happiness to everyone equally.

Bringing luck to those who lived a virtuous life and punishing those who walked the path of villainy. While it seemingly is the world of true utopia, its true nature isn’t anything like that. Rinne Tensei doesn’t discriminate between good and bad people, accepting everyone to fulfill their own definition of happiness.

While at first look similar to Eigou Kaiki, its true essence lies somewhere else. Memory is returned to blank state ever time reincarnation occurs, but it doesn’t mean relieved life was meaningless. It’s a spiral that incorporates and draws benefits and experience from previous lives, ensuring that following life will be better. Those who sinned will try to change due to their guilt and remorse.

Because this management focuses on promoting one’s growth, progress of civilization is also very fast. Since reset doesn’t occur, like in Daten Naraku or Eigou Kaiki, mankind can go in any direction and hold potential to surpass civilization that created Throne itself.

Rinne Tensei visibly differs from other Heavens. While most Gods use their authority to forcer humans to obey them and bring them under their jurisdiction, Marie’s law is that of complete altruism, “feel happiness by making others happy”.

The best feature of this craving however, is coexistence of Hadou Gods. Because of Hadou God’s characteristic to “repaint everything”, they collide with each other regardless of their intention. On the other hand, Marie’s law doesn’t harbor a concept of expulsion, hence she will hug and accept even other Hadou Gods. Even if new Hadou God is born it won’t eliminate Marie, but coexist in her embrace. However, this ability itself has limits. During a story of Dies irae, keeping three Hadou Gods was her limit. More than that would be too much for a Throne.

Ironically, such a huge freedom in its principle is also its biggest weakness. It doesn’t hold any function to fortify herself from others since it accepts everyone by its nature. This applies to monsters such as Hajun. He didn’t had any problems to invade her Throne and his overwhelming power was enough to destroy her function of coexistence, bringing her at his mercy.

This also means that any desire can be born, due to aforementioned “freedom in happiness”. Group of depraved heretics, Jashuumon, trying to undo her reign (“such a boring universe” they spoke) can exist as well. Ultimately, this was seed to produce next Heaven, one that would end her reign.

Observer of this world is a member of Jashuumon (note: since Yusa Shirou still does exist in this world, it’s unknown if at this point he still is an Observer; in the next world/Kajiri Kamui Kagura he’s one, but KKK is just an What IF scenario. Background Information

Setting of Kajiri Kamui Kagura.

In the Dai Go Ten’s era, people bored with universe Marie has created, decided to form sect to worship some unknown deity, later revealed to be a mere delusion.

With intention to overthrow her reign with their own God, they decided to use Sokushinbutsu, ritual practiced by Buddhist monks, revolving around entering mummification while being alive.

For that they have chosen (or rather, bought) boy that doesn’t react to outside stimuli. This boy acquired divine title, Hajun. And so, they buried him alive, building five-fold mausoleum around him so that no one can touch him, bringing him at mercy of darkness that doesn’t allow speck of light to pass through.

However, such thing doesn’t hold any meaning to Hajun. He was born with powerful soul, worldview far too expansive to perceive the world. He can’t see anything other than himself.

But pleasure of solitude was taken from him since he was born. Hajun has a twin brother who was absorbed by him in the womb of their mother. Attaching himself to part of Hajun’s brain, he doesn’t have a name and is only referred to as Tumor. Since the beginning Hajun had uncomfortable feeling that something keeps clinging to his body, and that’s a reason.

And thus, with his absolute rejection toward all living beings and his brother’s physical contact, his wish took form “I want to be alone”, “everyone beside me should disappear”. Vertex of self-love, rejection to look at anyone else, but himself. Law that transcends everything so only he can remain. Unique craving that makes him a sole hybrid of Hadou and Gudou.

Mistaking touch of Marie from Tumor, he arrived to her Throne and annihilated all Gods, but Ren and thus, took over Throne and so, the worst world in the history of Gods was born, Dai Yokukai Tengu Dou.

Expression of his law is “all living beings love only themselves”, in other words, everyone suffers from extreme case of self-love. World where everyone views themselves as Gods and anything other doesn’t matter at all. On the surface it appears everything is alright, but deep down feelings toward others is nonexistent . For example, lover sacrificing himself to save his beloved woman harbors thought “I died protecting my woman, I’m so wonderful” and woman thinks “I mourn death of my lover, I’m so wonderful”. Action that at first glance resembles genuine altruism is nothing more than opportunity to boast their own ego.

There’s no concept of God, religion, morality and afterlife. People doesn’t even know what soul is. Because they accept only that they’re alive, without being aware of post-mortem, they don’t fear death at all, it doesn’t have any weight in this world. And because one’s life is the most important, sacrificing even members of family is very common. There’s just one exception, Koga Rindou.

Because everyone keeps acquired knowledge only for themselves, there’s practically no cooperation and thus, progress of civilization is very slow. Experience dies with one generation because it isn’t shared even among family members. And due to nature of this management, people use this knowledge for nothing other than massacre.

However, this type of world isn’t a true expression of his law. Because of Ren’s stubborn nature and defensive function of his own law, Tengu Dou cannot be completed and thus, the world is in a gray area, with Hajun’s force taking only a slight influence. Shenzhou that became singularity has actually minor effect compared to the rest of the world.

After death of Yatsukahagi (Ren and his Legions) his true world was realized. Metsujin Messo. Law that thoroughly and absolutely kills everyone in the world. Along with the completion of the Throne, idea “in this universe only I should exist” is propagated. All living beings, regardless of their scale and family relation, start to kill each other. From human, to animals and even insects. World of slaughter and exclusion. Furthermore, since soul itself can’t exist in Tengu Dou, death is absolutely irreversible, without chance of reincarnation. Because of omnipresent wilderness new life can’t be produced, progress of civilization is stopped, universe itself shrinks down, reducing the very possibility that new souls can be born.

Billions of Śṛgālas (terminals of Hajun’s power, AKA mooks) and tens of thousands of pseudo-Gudou Gods battle with each other, sealing the fate of future, reducing universe to a mere slaughter feast until nothing remains in the end.

While nothing more than world that puts hell itself to shame. Degree of perfection is very huge among previous Hadou Gods. Because of his absolute self-love toward himself, he can’t grow Apoptosis and since he’s the strongest God, it’s impossible to overthrow him with mere power. Furthermore, since he installs self-love in every living being, craving of Hadou can’t be occurred under normal means, reducing birth of Hadou God to almost 0.

By releasing Tumor from Hajun’s body and defeating him once and for all. Rindou and Habaki decided to spread their own law to fill vacancy of the Throne. And so their wish took shape, “We don’t want give birth to barren things”. Sun that illuminates everything, born from union of Izanagi and Izanami, respecting diverse values of people and giving them choice in the afterlife.

It’s a law that imitates and fuses all previous Hadou God’s laws (with the exception of Dai Yokukai Tengu Dou). Using memeory of the Throne to fullest, this law replicates all wishes almost perfectly and projects them (only beneficial sides of laws though) in the form of afterlife. Habaki and Rindou understood that no matter what law is defining the world, hole in the heart of many remains. One law can’t fit into diverse desires of people. Thus, Amaterasu promotes coexistence of it by acknowledging previous Gods enabling humans to have more freedom in their choice.

This law has almost zero influence on humans while they’re alive. Instead, they’re judged in the afterlife by deeds they have done in their lives. When people reach their end they’re send to afterlives that reflect their actions and personal preferences.

  • Eigou Kaiki - if there’s not much progress In life and person in question wants to grow and gain new experience.

  • Daten Naraku - if one have been living a sinful life.

  • Tendou Hisouten - if one have been living a virtuous life.

  • Rinne Tensei - if one was unrewarded during life, thus finding happiness in the afterlife.

Basically, almost all souls decide where to go by themselves. While in most cases they don’t need guidance of God to choose their own afterlife, some of them can’t find their own destination. These ones, called “outsiders” will have their own soul extinguished on the spot.

While the judge of death is Madara Yakou himself, he himself said that his assistance in most cases isn’t needed as most souls know what they want.

Naturally, because it’s a law that treasures prosperity and possibilities of mankind more than anything, progress of civilization is among the best when compared to previous reigns.

Note! Amaterasu Suwasumeragi Oomikami isn’t really a name of its law, but Taikyoku of Habaki&Rindou. It’s unknown what official name of this craving is. Possibly Yaoyorozu, but it’s unconfirmed as of yet.
