Weaknesses: Unlike other demon lords, he can be harmed with physical attacks (not like it matter, due to his regeneration), he's really bad at using his abilities, he's completely obsessed with Willa and behaves irrational around her, if he doesn't complete his angel form then he turns into berserker
Destructive Capacity: City level+ (his most powerful attack can destroy Airborne Citadel), potentially small country level+ (it was noted that if he used his heat manipulation abilities to the fullest potential then destroying small country would be possible for him), his heat manipulation can harm even Izayoi

Intelligence: Very huge. When he's not focusing on Willa it was shown that Maxwell is a quick thinker with calculating capabilities. He could use his own summons to determine nature of Yu's Marchosias form. Even in his "berserker form" he demonstrated precise control over his power.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
Maxwell's demon: Maxwell's spirit status is that of Maxwell's demon - hypothetical entity born from thought experiment, proposed as a method to violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Based on this theory, Maxwell can isolate negative and positive molecules to seperate parts of space thereby reducing or increasing temperature without a loss of energy. Compressing and contracting heat to use it as energy, that's a basis of Maxwell's demon. This grants him several unique, yet closely related abilities.

Heat Manipulation: naturally, his Maxwell can control heat however he likes. He can create ice by freezing air molecules for number of purposes, usually producing ice constructs, like icicles and handcuffs; and fire by rapidly inceasing temperature in any spot he desires (with precision enough to cauterize wounds). It's extremely versatile ability, said to have infinite functions. But since Maxwell doesn't explore this too much, he usually uses its most basic functions. If he used it to the fullest potential, destroying small country wouldn't be impossible for him.

Summon, Phrase gate: Maxwell releases huge number of black pieces of paper, which then narrow into a funnel (astral gate), after snap of his fingers all heat in general vicinity is stolen, effectively encasing everything in ice. This attack is powerful enough to freeze Willa's Ignis Fatuus, which can burn everything in the material world.

Pressure Manipulation: since Maxwell has control over heat, using it to manipulate atmospheric pressure is a trivial matter for him. He can create explosions which deflect incoming attacks by rapidly changing heat difference and his abilities were used to create Bull of Heaven (to control weather).

Necrosis: Maxwell injects freezing winds through mouth of his enemy, causing cellular decay by internal freezing. This was powerful enough to work on Izayoi.

Nuclear Meltdown: born by combining Gift of heat manipulation and his regenerative abilities, Maxwell usurps heat from a large area, focusing all this energy in his body and ultimately exploding in a nuke-like manner. This's normally suicidual attack, but with Maxwell's regeneration he can quickly restore himself.

Teleportation: ability reserved to those who can control astral gates. Maxwell opens astral gate to access different time stream of different dimension, before making a jump back into the same time stream. Unlike normal teleportation, this one doesn’t involve forewarning and doesn’t have any relation to objects and obstacles in the path. Because of its nature, it can’t be matched with simple senses and speed, requiring something which transcends those mundane notions, like precognition. Maxwell's astral gate is a boundary between "warmth" and "cold", just one application of his ability to isolate molecules. For this reason he first disassembles subject into particles and reconstructs at his designated place. Since point of reference still exist in material world, he doesn't have such limitations as Willa. Maxwell skill with teleportation is so great he can instantly teleport in any position he is, continuously teleport in a chain-like manner, teleport huge number of beings, relocate others without physical contact and teleport beings moving at lightning speed.

Summon, Coppelia sister: because Maxwell isn't strong Demon Lord, he compensated for that by summoning various entities. Through astral gate, he invokes as much as hundred of Coppelias, automaton dolls. With a lifeless eyes, and what seem to be blood coursing across their bodies, offshoots of third perpetual motion machine, unsealed and mass-produced by Maxwell's "friends". While they are still at prototype stages, they can use various blades hidden in their bodies and dance-like movements for a combat purposes. Individually, they don't pose a threat, but huge number of them can keep busy Willa and Yu at the same time.

Backup: as a manifestation of thought experiment, rejected by science, Maxwell is a really weak demon lord, who should perish with average attacks. But, due to paradigm shift in early 2000s, he was proven to exist, manifesting as a law's engraved above the world. Then, it 2120's he took part in paradigm shift that rooted his existence in a development of third perpetual motion machine, acquiring power enough to bite into upper-levels of Little Garden.

Nanomachines: result of this huge paradigm shift is modernization of third perpetual motion machine (3S nano machine unit) into the form of nanomachines. This's the true form of Maxwell's demon, "distant cousin" of the third perpetual motion machine and his spirit status.

Information Manipulation: Maxwell uses nanomachines to reconstruct environmental information and derive free energy from it. This way he can function indefinitely and is also a root for his Gift of molecular manipulation.

Self-reconstruction: since his body is made of nanomachines (though encased in a "vessel"), Maxwell has virtually unlimited regenerative abilities. While he can be harmed with physical attacks unlike other demon lords, if one doesn't possess enough power sever his connection with spirit status then Maxwell will regenerate infinitely. Maxwell regenerated his entire body after it was vaporized by flames capable of burning all things creation and even manifestation of concepts, lightning of Almathea that can destroy everything in material world and even physical strength of Izayoi. It's assumed that he can only be killed by Another Cosmology (power to wipe out paradigm shift).

Summon Maxwell myths, 3S nano machine unit: ability to summon "myths" (gods of mythology) belongs only to poets, elder gods and Queen Halloween. Maxwell can use it after contracting mythological faction (probably Christianity) to guarantee the sanctity of third perpetual motion machine. To summon them, he intermingles fierce heat and freezing winds in speeds far above limitations of the material world, causing particlese in atmosphere to rampage out of control, ultimately causing space to shatter. From there appear inorganic looking angels, with something similiar to blood coursing through their bodies, wielding weapons like swords and spears. Lack of intellect aside, their ability to teleport and their bodies made of nanomachines with vast regenerative function, coupled with strength capable of harming His Highness, puts them in a range of divine spirits. Maxwell can summon dozen of them and it's unknown whether he has limit in number.

Angel form: Maxwell can rewrite his spirit status, taking appearance to that of angel, with white robes and wings. He does it by encasing himself in a cocoon (he can still summon angels), before emerging in his complete form. However, due to his degradation in mentality, Maxwell emerged in his incomplete form, losing rational thoughts. So true abilities of this form remain unknown. It's possible that it would give him better vessel to contain his spirit status.

Host Master: privilege to release inner universe and construct trial (Gift Game) made from spirit status of the user. It’s impossible to reject the game as they’re the very rules of Little Garden, hence one triggered it must be cleared. Originally, it was created as method to usurp portion of Last Embryo’s power and one of the few effective weapons against them. Maxwell's Gift Game was never triggered, but apparently it's related to Black Box (unobservable area) and he himself describes it as a "love letter" for Willa.
