Goku's Kamehameha vs. Vegeta's Galick Gun |
Energy Blasts are a form of offensive energy attack.
These huge rays of pure energy can knock over or even obliterate dozens of targets, and/or cause heating effects. Some users can discharge an incredibly powerful supernova from one’s body which can be quite large and extremely destructive. Blasts can range in size and destructiveness, often at the user's will. Some blasts may be focused while others may spread out in all directions. Users may generate blasts from weapons, skin, eyes, mouth or hands (or really any part of their body). These blasts may be formed of ki (or other ki - like energy sources), magic, cosmic energy, scientifically based energy (i.e. particle beams, laser, EM radiation), etc.
Limitations
- Users require energy to create a blast
- Amount of blasts dependent on amount of energy stored
- Users may not be immune to effects of own blast, so beginners need to limit themselves until training can be done.
- Firing may be constant, or unexpected.
- Users may be exhausted if too much energy is consumed.
- Users may be over charged if too much energy is gained
- There may be a range limit
Application:
- Nova: User collects a large amount of energy and releases it in an orb for an omnidirectional attack
- Blasts: Hands, feet ,or face release energy over a specific target area
- Bursts: Fired in short sequence over a wide area
- Bolts: Releases very many low powered projectiles
- Zap: A tiny short release of energy to cause pain or discomfort, not destructive
- Overpower: Pulse energy is released, overloading powered devices in an area
- Touch: Holding or touching a person or object may charge or supercharge that object, perhaps even Molecular Acceleration
- Beam: The user shoots a long, powerful, continuous stream of energy.
- Energy summoning: Summoning objects with energy.
- Energy Wave :Sends out a wave of energy to cause destruction or detect enemies.
- Energy Tracking: Places energy in objects/people and uses it to track them down
- Blinding: Releases a flash of light or beam to (usually temporarily) blind an opponent instead of doing actual damage
