Powers and Abilities: Can transform from his young form into Captain Marvel by speaking the word Shazam (an acronym for the gods who give him his powers and also the name of the wizard who empowered him), In this form he has super strength, speed, durability, flight, the Wisdom of Solomon, the Strength of Hercules, the Stamina of Atlas, the Power of Zeus, the Courage of Achilles, and the Speed of Mercury. He can charge his punches with magic to do extra damage. The lightning bolt that empowers him when he transforms can also be used to attack enemies. Can survive in space. Can materialize things with magic.
Weaknesses: Is just a normal 12 - year - old boy in his original form. He can be transformed back if he says the word Shazam
Destructive Capacity: Solar system level+ (can fight on par with Superman [even knocked him out once], can also fight on par with Black Adam [again, he can also fight on par with Superman])

- Wisdom of Solomon: With this, his brain contains almost all of the scholarly knowledge of mankind. He can speak any language on earth. He also is capable of making much more intelligent/wise decisions and gives him the ability to hypnotize others, as well as near-immunity to telepathy.
- Strength of Hercules: Gives him his super strength
- Stamina of Atlas: Not only does he almost never tire (or need to sleep, breathe, or eat), but his durability is immense.
- Power of Zeus: This is what powers his thunderbolt that transforms him. It also prevents him from aging in his Captain Marvel form and renders him nearly immune to all magic-based attacks (even technology-based transmutation has been proven to be ineffective).
- Courage of Achilles: Sometimes also stated to be the invulnerability of Achilles. This helps him psychologically and allows him to resist mental attacks better.
- Speed of Mercury: Captain Marvel can fly faster than the speed of light and run at least Mach 500.
- Thunderbolt: A magical bolt of lightning that appears whenever he says the word Shazam to transform him into Captain Marvel or back. It can also be dodged and used to attack enemies (it is magically empowered by Zeus and far more powerful than a normal lightning bolt). It also can recharge his energies or provide power for other magic users.
