Powers and Abilities: Super strength, speed, durability, agility, endurance, skilled in martial arts, flight, the ability to manipulate and use energy effectively (not ki) both defensively (can use energy to enhance his natural durability and harden his skin, can also use it to generate energy barriers) and offensively (can shoot energy blasts capable of crossing thousands of kilometers and blowing up entire planets), soul destruction resistance
Weaknesses: Overconfident; due to being an artificial human, his energy is set at a fixed level (although this weakness was later retconned out of existence by Word of God saying that artificial humans can become stronger through training)
Destructive Capacity: At least small star level+ (far superior to Namek Saga Freeza) | Universe level+ (Android 17 was able to fight and easily overpower SSJ Absorbed God Ki Goku, he also managed to fight fairly well against Super Saiya-jin Blue Goku for a while [although, Goku didn't have the intention to use this form, since he wasn't expecting Android 17 to be strong enough to make him use it], Goku also knew that Android 17 was holding back and was trying to test him more, pushed through Anilaza's energy sphere [that requires no less than four Super Saiya-jin Blue level characters to hold in place] in episode 121 and punched out its power reactor; is outright Super Saiya-jin Blue level managed to wound Jiren, being the second character to leave a notable mark on Jiren during the tournament)

- Finger Beam: A barrage of narrow rays emitted from the index finger of its user, similar in execution to the death beam from Freeza.
- Energy Barrier: A technique where energy is thrust out from the body in the form of a barrier with great force. The barrier can be used to both defend against oncoming projectiles and to expand and damage its surroundings
- Photon Flash: Android 17 raises his hand forward and fires a powerful yellow energy blast, inflicting great damage. This attack was used to kill Future Gohan.
- Power Blitz: Android 17 unleashes a compressed, potent wave of energy at his opponents, inflicting a great amount of damage. It can also be used in a rapid-fire manner.

Other: As he is not actually an android, but rather a human transformed into a cyborg, the name can be rather misleading. It comes from a mistranslation in the American version, the original word used was "jinzoningen", which roughly means "machine/artificial human"
