Powers and Abilities: Generation and manipulation of fire through Firebending a martial art based on Northern Shaolin Kung Fu which also makes him a master martial artist, can generate and redirect bolts of lightning, Sozin's Comet increases his firebending power.
Weaknesses: A solar eclipse disables Firebending.
Destructive Capacity: Small building level via powerscaling. City block buster with power from Sozin's Comet

Speed: Human, although much more agile then his portly physique would suggest. Debatably his reaction time is aroundsupersonic, because he reacted to and redirected a natural lightning bolt.
Durability: Peak human+. He tanked several rock gloves from the Dai Li.

Striking Strength: Class 1+ (Iroh is capable of smashing solid rock with his bare hands while he was way out of his prime, underwent intense physical training and became even stronger)
Stamina: Large (can get into intense fights with powerful benders without getting winded, at one point in Book 3, he trained constantly for several weeks to increase his physical strength)

Intelligence: Quite intelligent and wise. Was the top general of the Fire Nation army. Iroh managed to breach the Great Wall of Ba Sing Se, a feat never before and after accomplished by a normal army. Led a second attack on Ba Sing Se during Sozin's Comet with a small Order of the White Lotus army and succeeded.
Notable attacks and techniques:
- Firebending: A form of psychic martial arts that is mainly practiced in the Fire Nation. It involves making powerful, dynamic movements to create scorching hot flames that can inflict considerable damage. The flames are directly powered by one's chi. By adapting smoother movements and calming the mind, an adept Firebender can generate super fast streams of chi lightning.
- Fireball: A basic ball of fire. Can be briefly charged to increase power.
- Fire Stream: Iroh shoots a continuous stream of fire. This stream can be widened to create a flame-thrower like technique.
- Blazing Rings & Arcs: Spinning kicks or sweeping arm movements create rings and arcs to slice larger, more widely spaced, or evasive targets.
- Breath of Fire: Resembling an exhaling of flames, Iroh firebends out of his mouth, mixing air from the lungs with the flame creating a wider, hotter blast.
- Lightning Bolt: Iroh separates yin and yang energy and brings them crashing back together, creating and firing a bolt of lightning.
- Lightning Redirection: Iroh can absorb a bolt of lightning through one arm, direct it through the stomach, and shoot it out the other arm.
- Comet Blast: Only performed with Sozin's Comet. Iroh creates a large ring of fire around him, inhaling and exhaling to make it expand and shrink. After several breaths, Iroh focuses the ring into a ball in front of him and shoots a huge fireblast from it. Capable of of blasting through the Great Wall of Ba Sing Se.
