Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- MurakumoBlade Gospelgain: Rufus' Asterism, lightning generation ability. Simple and powerful starlight which allows him to evoke lightning strikes at will. Because lightning is common and natural phenomenon he has huge rank in interference so he isn't limited to triggering ability merely from his body, but can summon it to any spot he desires. High diffusibility and convergence can freely disperse and focus density of this starlight and high output can kill opponents as powerful as Ragna with a single attack. While this ability doesn't appear to have any weak points and has huge development potential, it's somewhat downgraded due to Rufus' own spirit - simple human who despises effort and merely desires to live comfortably.
- Apostle: people who received power from Ancestors, becoming their limbs and faithful servants. Through ritual called “Baptism” Ancestors create purified axion (materialized astral) and drive it into subject heart. Resulting body alteration grants them all benefits common to Esperanto, including increased physical abilities and acquisition of Asterism. What sets them apart from Esperanto is that through axion they inherit properties of their masters. In the case of Ancestors, it’s immortality. This ritual forms invisible connection between Ancestors and Apostles and so long this connection remains Apostles can regenerate even from complete destruction. They can freely adjust regeneration speed, usually they can regenerate their entire body in about 3 seconds, but it’s possible for them to delay it for combat purposes. However, because they’re 3-dimensional beings their lifespan is finite and thus, they can still die of old age. Furthermore, because they’re always connected to their masters, who in turn are connected to Amaterasu and draw power from there, their stamina is effectively infinite.
