Background Information:
Tyrian is a scrolling space shooter game published in 1995 by Epic Megagames. The plot is only semi-serious, and features many comedic elements such as food - based weaponry, nose - shaped spaceships, etc. The music is also excellent.

The Tyrian universe itself is very powerful, with FTL being common and one-man fighters possessing planetbusting power. There are also incidents of reality warping.
