Background Information
Kekkaishi is a completed shonen manga series with 35 volumes, written and illustrated by Tanabe Yellow.
By night, junior high student Yoshimori Sumimura is a "kekkaishi"—a demon-hunter who specializes in creating magical barriers around his prey. By day, Yoshimori's got some other demons to battle: an addiction to sweets and a seriously crotchety grandfather!
Yoshimori's pretty 16-year-old neighbor and childhood friend, Tokine Yukimura, is also a kekkaishi, but their families are feuding over who is the true practitioner of the art.
Standing in the Battledome
Kekkaishi is a fairly powerful verse.
Mid tiers range from building level to small town level, high tiers and top tiers are at least small town to potentially city level+.
The god tier of the series, Chushinmaru is at least multi continent level+ considering he has the power the devastate the world. Powerful spellcasters are capable of casting world devastating spells, and some the strongest god in the series, Mahora can consume such spells.
Other high/top tiers are capable of controlling the weather and are considered threats to entire towns. Their feats currently need more evaluation.
Their speed also needs better evaluation.
As far as hax is concerned, they have various mind control, spatial manipulation, dimensional manipulation, possession, absorption, resurrection, intangibility, and reality warping.
As a verse, they're above the likes of Boku no Hero Academia, D.Gray-Man and Hunter x Hunter. (potentially other verses as well with more evaluation).
