Background Information:
Invader Zim is a cartoon series that was produced by, and subsequently aired on Nickelodeon who, not being headed by particularly intelligent people, requested it be made by Jhonen Vasquez, better known as the creator of Johnny the Homocidal Maniac. The series revolves around an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk and his ongoing mission to conquer and/or destroy a dark and satirical version of the Earth. His various attempts to subjugate and destroy the human race are invariably undermined by some combination of his own ineptitude and his malfunctioning robot servant GIR.
As with most decent American animated series, it was canceled before a second Season because it wasn't popular with its target demographic, children (There's a shocker). Never mind that it was a smash hit with teens and college-aged adults.
Standing in the Battledome:
The series is pretty powerful since they do have some FTL spaceships, and alien races like Planet-Jackers have the ability to bust planets.
