Background Information

Kimetsu no Yaiba (or Blade of Demon Destruction) is an ongoing manga written and illustrated by Gotouge, Koyoharu. The setting is Taisho era Japan. Tanjirou is a kindhearted young boy who lived peacefully with his family as a coal seller. Their normal life changes completely when his family is slaughtered by demons. The only other survivor, Tanjirou's younger sister Nezuko, has become a ferocious demon. In order to return Nezuko to normal and get revenge on the demon that killed their family, the two of them depart on a journey. From a young talent, an adventure tale of blood and swords begins!

Standing in the Battledome

KnY is a weak verse, even below the likes of Rurouni Kenshin. Primarily due to it being new. The verse does however posess some interesting abilities for such a low tier verse.

The verse's demons have regeneration ranging from low - mid level, even fodder can grow back arms that were cut off or even sprout limbs from thier dismemebred heads. They can even control their bodies even if they've been decapitated. Depending on the level of demon they can possess various abilities such as illusion creation, sensory abilities, shapeshifting and the strongest demon in the series, Kitbutsuji can turn humans into demons with his blood.

On the destructive side of things, the characters only range from street to wall level.

Speed wise they're superhuman to faster than the eye can see.
